I started working at The City Club of Washington in April 2012. I attended North Carolina Agriculture Tech in Greensboro, NC. After returning to my hometown of Washington, DC, I began to volunteer as a program director at Judah Project, a nonprofit organization in the Ward 2 area of Washington, D.C. There I practice building relationships and serving the community by managing and creating effective leadership programs that met the needs of the Ward 2 area youth. Along with successfully managing grant funds, payroll and some grant writing, I am currently a student, seeking my degree in Accounting. I have a passion for math and love to read fairy-tale stories. My family consist of four strong women and two handsome young men: my mom, Alice; three sisters, Tracee, Clydia and Kara; and twin nephews, Jacob and Joel, all of whom I love very much.
