Scott Simonsen grew up in Wichita, KS and graduated from Valley Center High School in 1992.  Scott started his career in golf at Island West Golf Club in Hilton Head, SC in October of 2002 as the Assistant Golf Professional and within a year was promoted to Head Golf Professional.  In June of 2006, Scott, along with his daughter, Grace who is now 13 years old, moved to Dallas to become the Head Golf Professional at Coyote Ridge Golf Club where he worked for 5 years.  Scott joined the ClubCorp family in July 2011, as the Head Golf Professional at Brookhaven Country Club where he worked at promoting an excellent member experience, he has also served as the Head Golf Professional since December 31, 2014, and most recently accepted the position of Director of Golf here at The Clubs of Prestonwood.

Scott was elected into membership with the PGA of America in October 2016. He is excited to mentor the staff at Prestonwood as they continue their education into the PGA.

David ‘Chaz’ Edwards

Chaz Edwards is born and raised in Dallas,Texas where he attended Lake Highlands High School. He graduated from the PGA Golf Management Program at New Mexico State University with a Bachelors in Marketing and Business Administration with a Specialization in PGA Golf Management.

He is a Class A PGA Professional and is a certifiedinstructor in U.S. Kids Golf, Positive Coaching Alliance, Vector Green Reading,and the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI). He is currently enrolled in thenext level of PGA Education to become a Certified PGA Professional in Teaching& Coaching and Player Development.

He was a full-time instructor at Brookhaven Country Club from 2010-2014 and became the Director of Golf Instruction at The Clubs of Prestonwood shortly after the ClubCorp acquisition in May 2014. He looks forward to becoming a Master Teaching Professional as soon as he can and hopes for continued success in his role at The Clubs of Prestonwood for years to come.
