Topic: Successful Aging In Place With New Technologies

Aging In Place already affects millions of people in the United States. There are new technologies being developed every day to assist those who want to remain in their own homes; safe, secure and independent. A presentation of new technologies, products and services will be discussed. These solutions will address helpful solutions of early onstage of dementia, medication reminders, inactivity notification and much more. This is a very good way to be introduced to technologies that everyone will need sooner or later.

Bio:

A graduate of The University of South Carolina with a degree in Business Administration, Chris has years of experience in management and administrative work and has held leadership roles in several businesses and organizations. He serves Care Giver Solutions, LLC as a Co-Founder and the CEO; he is also CEO of Zimmerman Financial Group, LLC a real estate holding group.

With an abundance of experience in relationship marketing, he felt an inspiration to do something that would directly affect other people’s lives. He decided he wanted to create a company that would offer solutions and resources like no other in the marketplace for seniors, their families and caregivers and anyone with a health challenge.

Chris understands being a caregiver. During his senior year of college, his mother was diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) and for the next eight years he played a vital role in her daily care. Chris comments, "That was one of the most demanding, yet rewarding times of my life." Since then, he has been responsible for his aunt who suffered from congestive heart failure and currently cares for an elderly lady in his community who has no immediate family in the area.

The concept of offering people the opportunity for financial freedom through hard work and building something they own is a principle with which Chris is able to identify. Part of his vision is to educate people on being independent, both physically and financially.
