Gathering at 5:30pm.  Speaker starts at 6:00pm
Presenter:  Terron Vawter of Velocity Ideas

Terron will present information about the current trends in technology, online, and marketing with information about how that affects your interaction with your clients. He'll also ask you questions about how you go about engaging your customers and how to identify where your future ones may be hiding. Is social media as important as the media hype leads you to believe? Is your business keeping up technologically with your competition or has your comfort zone kept you behind?
Questions during/after are always encouraged.

Terron Vawter bio:  In 1989, Terron’s advertising career in radio and broadcast television started in the 13th largest market, Tampa, FL.  His extensive background includes producing and directing live television for entertainment style programs, developing television commercials and infomercials, and creating short format corporate videos for various industries.  Just a few of the companies that Terron has had the privilege of working with include:Walt Disney World, American Heart Association, Publix Supermarkets, Boys & Girls Clubs, Florida Special Olympics, Lakeland Regional Hospital System,  and Advantage Sales & Marketing (A national food distributor).

In the early 2000's, he expanded his business knowledge into the real estate industry where he gained extensive knowledge of the mortgage and title industries, including buying and selling investment properties for profit.  Although not his current focus, he currently holds multiple revenue generating rental properties and finds opportunities when they present themselves.

In 2007, he moved to the Greenville, SC market where he has since led a support group for children with disabilities, facilitated bi-weekly networking events for the benefit of local small business owners, and works with corporations that a looking to develop their marketing and branding.


The sponsor will speak about 20 minutes followed by a speed networking format. Mix and mingle with other members and guests that has an interest in business networking, making business contacts, building relationships and sharing leads. Event includes two drinks and light hors d' oeuvres. Members are complimentary and guests $10 inclusive
