The Commerce Club was founded in the summer of 1984, with a grand opening gala on June 9, and is located atop One Liberty Square in downtown Greenville, overlooking the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. The Commerce Club's founding Board of Governors had a vision of establishing a place for a diverse membership to meet with colleagues, entertain guests and dine in warm, friendly surroundings. With over 15,000 square feet of dining and meeting rooms, the Commerce Club was designed as a home away from home for Members and their families, friends and business associates.
