Although she was born in Missouri, her family moved to SC when she was 10, and she considers Greenville her home. Her career with ClubCorp started in September 1988 when she took a position with the Commerce Club as a banquet server for the holidays. In January 1989, she moved into the Accounting Assistant position, where she remained until 1996 when her husband relocated to Savannah, GA.
Fortunately, she and her husband came back to Greenville four years later and she resumed the Accounting Assistant position. She came back because she believes the employees and Members of the Commerce Club are some of the finest people she’s ever met, and she thoroughly enjoys interacting with both the staff and Members.
In 2006, she and Tammy Clardy won the ClubCorp Accounting Team STAR Excellence Award. In 2010, she branched out into the Head Evening Receptionist position as well as continuing to assist in accounting, which grants her the opportunity to spend more time with the Members and assist them directly with questions.
When she’s not at work, she enjoys reading, games of all sorts, bridge and spending time with her family and friends.
