Troy comes to us from a variety of experiences in his background.  He started his career after graduating from Ole Miss playing golf professionally for six years and then decided to turn to the operational side of the business in 2007.

He began working at DeBary Golf and Country Club where he learned about the business. He then transferred to The Ritz Carlton Golf Club in Orlando as an assistant golf professional and was then promoted to Operations Supervisor where he spent the next three years honing his skills.

After studying and applying himself, Troy was elected to the PGA in 2010 with his Class “A” status. In 2011, Troy was promoted to Head Golf Professional at Griffin Gate Golf Club in Lexington, Kentucky. He spent a little over a year there and was recruited to be the Head Golf Professional of Magnolia Creek in League City in 2012.

In 2013, he was given the title of Director of Golf and ran the operations of Magnolia Creek and South Shore Harbour.

In 2014, he was offered the position of Director of Golf for The Golf Trails of The Woodlands and Lake Windcrest where he now currently serves his members and fellow Employee Partners.

Fun Fact: Troy is a “foodie” that loves to cook and bake.

A 20 year veteran of the golf and private club industry, Terry started his career in golf shortly after completing graduate school at the University of Oklahoma.  His first job was working in the pro shop at a golf course in Kansas City then moved on to a sales roles with American Golf Corporation in Dallas, Las Vegas, Atlanta, Charlotte, and finally Houston. He has held various roles in sales and marketing including tournament and event sales, sales team manager, and membership sales director at clubs all across the country.  Terry has been in his current role as a Membership Director for the Golf Trails of the Woodlands since April 2016. Terry came to Club Corp in October 2014 after the Club Corp acquisition of the Sequoia Golf portfolio of clubs, where he had been since 2006.  He is excited about helping you and your family find the perfect “home away from home” at the Golf Trails of the Woodlands and Lake Windcrest.

Mitchell Putnam

Mitchell holds a BS degree in Criminal Justice from Sam Houston State University. He was born and raised in Houston Texas. He joined the ClubCorp family as Service Captain at Willow Creek Golf Club in 2014, eventually becoming the Membership Director in 2017. He joined The Golf Trails of The Woodlands team in 2018 as the Membership Director. 

He enjoys playing golf, fishing, and watching Houston sports teams play.

Fred Dobbins

Fred is a Life Member of the PGA of America and is responsible for all daily operations of the club. He has joined the Lake Windcrest team in late 2015 after starting at the South Houston cluster with ClubCorp. Fred is originally from upstate New York and enjoys hockey, hunting and playing golf with his wife Lynn, friends and members. 

Fun Fact: Fred and Lynn’s Black Labrador Retriever, Cinder, runs their house.

Renee Moresco McGee

Renee graduated in 2010 from the University of Houston with a degree in Hospitality, Hotel and Restaurant Management. During that time she worked at the Hyatt Hotel on Market Street for four years. Renee has been in the golf industry since 2014 where she worked at the Palmer Course for a year. She then worked at the Tournament Course for six months helping open Mitchell’s prior to coming to The Golf Trails of The Woodlands in October 2015.

Fun Fact: Rene likes football, fishing and spending time with her family.

Allen (Sonny) is a 2005 graduate from TSTC, Texas State Technical College, in Golf Course and Landscape Management. His first job was at Lake Windcrest as the Assistant Superintendent. He became the Panther Trail Superintendent and remained in that position from 2010-2014. In 2014, he became the Superintendent of South Shore Harbour before accepting the position for The Golf Trails in 2016.

Sonny enjoys outdoor activities, time with family, and going to his place in to Comfort, TX during his time off. He is a huge Texas A&M sports fan and he tries to watch every baseball and football game!

Fun Fact: Sonny loves spending time with his wife, Leah and newborn boy, Luke Allen. He has a Black Lab, Driver, and Black Cat, Zoey, who run the house!

Curtis Cristwell

Curtis joined the team at Willow Creek Golf Club in June of 2015. He spent the rest of 2015 assisting the Food and Beverage Director there until taking on his own adventure at Lake Windcrest in December 2015.

Curtis has been in the food and beverage industry since 2005 when he started working at a small family owned restaurant in his hometown in California. He has spent the last 10 years in the industry and is happy to join Texas and the ClubCorp Family.

Fun Fact: Curtis is a first generation in the United States from Iceland. His Amma (grandmother) and many cousins still live there.
