Below you will find the complete bio of Suzan Zimmerman:

Suzan is a Senior Vice President at QinetiQ North America and is responsible for all military business development and strategy forbringing the war fighter the latest in technology advanced weapon and training systems.

Suzan also provides corporate strategic direction in a variety of business areas for customers such as the Department of Defense (e.g., Army, Navy, Air Force), Department of Justice (e.g., Federal Bureau of Investigation and Drug Enforcement Administration), Department of Agriculture, Department of Transportation, Department of the Treasury, U.S. Customs Service, and Immigration and Naturalization Services.

Suzan formerly was Senior Vice President at Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC). Her responsibilities included developing international and domestic business strategies, focusing on the most advanced software development, systems integration, and telecommunications capabilities.

Before joining SAIC in 1990, Suzan spent several years as a specialist at IBM marketing large systems to DoD and national accounts, including Time Life Books, General Electricʼs Space Division, and the District of Columbia government. During that time, Suzan served on the Ada Advisory Board in the Pentagon reporting to Dick Cheney, then Secretary of Defense. Prior to her tenure with IBM,Suzan spent five years working directly for Dr. Wang as the public relations director at Wang Laboratories.

For the past 14 years, Suzan has been a distinguished member of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association, and has served on its Board of Directors. Additionally, she chaired several committees for the Industrial Advisory Council, United Way, American Heart Association, and the National Conference for Community and Justice (formerly known as the National Conference of Christians and Jews).

Currently, Suzan has been named to the Board of Directors for the State of Virginia as a member of the Economic Development committee, in addition, she is on the Board of Directors for AFCEA International, DC Chapter of AFCEA and on the Board of Directors at the Tower Club in Tysons Corner, VA. Suzan earned her Bachelor of Science in Economics from Michigan State University.
