WILL Workshop Thursday, November 29th 8:30am-10:00am $35 Inclusive Gender Matters...Invisible Differences When there is a WILL there is a way…….and advancing your career takes intentional effort and strong development resources to support that growth and advancement. Please join us for a development program designed with the specific needs of women operation within legal roles in advancing careers. Our November session will be on the topic of "Gender Matters-Invisible Differences". Based on the work of Dr. Patricia Heim, we will watch a DVD that outlines gender differences that often appear invisible to us – we may think it is a personal challenge rather than a gender difference. We will explore differences in the following areas: relationships, approach to power, what it means to be a team player,friendship vs. friendliness, how meetings are conducted, how we approach new situations, verbal and non-verbal cues, as well as body orientation. Key Learning Points: -Recognizing and understand the many variables that impact cross-gender interactions. -Developing strategies for greater cross-gender effectiveness.
