Dan Lindblade, CAE
President and CEO—Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce

Dan Lindblade, CAE, has over three decades of organizational management experience on the national, state and local levels. He is in charge of all internal and external operations for The Chamber, leading a 12-member executive management team in Greater Fort Lauderdale. He lobbies on behalf of business interests in South Florida and is the spokesman for the organization.

Dan is on the Board of Directors of the Fort Lauderdale Alliance, the Executive Committee and Board of Directors of Winterfest, the Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association, and served as Vice Chairman of the City of Fort Lauderdale City Manager Search Committee.

He also serves on other organizations like the Orange Bowl Committee and Florida Atlantic University’s President’s Advisory Committee.

Dan has held positions of CEO, executive vice president, and Director of Government Affairs and Public Relations at organizations in Madison, WI, Orlando, Albuquerque, NM, Fort Lauderdale and Lexington, KY. He is a Certified Association Executive (CAE) and was graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, with a BA in Journalism. He and his wife of 24 years, Sharon, live in Fort Lauderdale, and they have one daughter, Allie.
