Her name is Veronica Majors but she goes by "Chef Vee" and proudly wears the American Culinary Federation President’s Medal for Professionalism.
She has been the Executive Chef at Renaissance Resort here in St. Augustine, Executive Chef at Sheraton Inn, Buckhead, Atlanta, Executive Chef at Calloway Gardens Resort, and at the Big Eddy Club.
Her training and education include a University Florida Master food and nutrition educator certificate, a stint at the Hotel Schweizerhof, Switzerland, numerous classes from Johnson and Wales, The Culinary Institutes of Hyde Park, New York and Greystone, California.
Chef Vee has been featured in Southern Living Magazine, Golf News, Columbus Ledger newspaper, Culinary review and was featured on CNN as guest Chef.
