I was born in Cape Verde, a small country off the coast of Africa and I have been in Boston since 2003. I stared working in the hospitality industry at the age of 16 as a server at Ground Round. It didn't take long for me to realize that I had a passion for food and wanted to make it a life long career. Years later and several great restaurants, hotels and clubs such as The Mandarin Oriental Boston, Beacon Grille and The Harvard Club of Boston, it is an honor to be the Executive Chef at The UMass Club.
