Leagues

Walnut Creek has a very strong league program and participates in all area leagues. For information on any of these groups or to find out how to join, please stop in or call the pro shop.

 Competitive Leagues 

• Three TCD (Tennis Competitors of Dallas) teams
• 17 women’s Fort Worth USTA teams
• Five men’s Fort Worth USTA teams
• Two USTA mixed doubles’ teams
• Women’s USTA League Levels 2.5-4.0
• Men's USTA League Levels 3.0-4.5

Club Leagues

• Men's Tennis Association meets every Monday evening at 7 p.m.
• Ladies' Tennis Association meets every Tuesday morning at 9:30 a.m.
• Ladies' Thursday night league meets once a month on Tuesday evenings.
• Women’s Play Day meets every Wednesday morning at 9:15 a.m.
• Sunday Afternoon Mixed Doubles themed events are held once a month.

• Men’s and Women’s USTA sanctioned leagues, which include all regular levels, 40 and over, combo, mixed and senior levels are offered to all Tennis Members.
• Walnut Creek offers Men’s 3.5, 4.0 and 4.5 teams, and Women’s 2.5, 3.0, 3.5 and 4.0 teams. Women play on Friday and Saturday; Men on Saturday.
• Women’s and Mixed Doubles TCD (Tennis Competitors of Dallas) play on Thursdays and Sunday afternoons.
• Our program also consists of an active junior program, consisting of High Performance Juniors (tournament level) and 10 & Under Tennis programs, with Junior Team Tennis.

Walnut Creek Tennis is proud of their participation in leagues, so we hope to see you in a league as a regular or a sub.

Tournaments

Your leagues provide some of the most exciting tennis tournaments around. Here, you’ll play challenging matches, meet fellow Members and, with any luck, win some great prizes. 

Our tennis program hosts six sanctioned tournaments a year, which include four junior and two adult tournaments along with several non-sanctioned tournaments.

Sanctioned tournaments include:

• Adult: Summer Sizzler and Bob Noel Tennis Classic
• Juniors: Walnut Creek Junior CMZ Major Zone, Spring ZAT, Junior Open and Junior Shootout

Our program also hosts a Men’s Pro Circuit Event, “The Futures of Mansfield,” held every October with players ranging from 150 – 500 in the world, representing 25 or more countries. This tournament has a $15,000 purse.

Several fun mixers during the year for our Members include Divorce Court (husband/wife mixed), Men’s Pizza and Suds Mixer and Pro-Am events.
