Bill started as a teaching pro 6 years ago after a career in sales and marketing with the ExcelAcademy in Canton. He then moved to the Bridgemill Academy, then the Top Tennis Academy at Cherokee Tennis Center as well as Harmony on the Lakes in Canton. He loves teaching all ages from under 10's, to high school players, to adults just getting started or players trying to improve their games.

Bill is a tennis fanatic who enjoys watching and playing as much as he does teaching. Bill plays Men's ALTA, USTA, T2, Ultimate Tennis, and T2 Mixed and Mixed ALTA with his favorite partner, his wife, former professional tennis player Nanely DeMartini. Bill went to the University of Georgia and is an avid Bulldogs fan. He has 2 sons (15 and 11) and 3 dogs and loves being on the courts more than anywhere else.

The thing he loves the most about teaching at White Columns are the members. There is a true willingness and drive to learn and improve their games that he hasn't seen at other clubs where he's taught.

Richard Tracy

Role: Tennis Professional
Serving Since: 2016

I began playing tennis at the age of 9 in Rome, Ga. My family moved four years later to Jacksonville, Florida where I had new tennis opportunities further advancing my abilities and love for the game. I began my collegiate playing career at Shorter College in Rome, Georgia and later transferred to Florida State University. I continued playing after graduating, earning adult rankings in Florida and Georgia. My teaching career began in 1994 as a part-time ALTA coach and evolved into a full-time career by 1999. As a member of the Professional Tennis Registry (PTR) since 1999, I have earned certification in Adult Player Development and Junior High Performance, and have held Head Pro positions in Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina.

I find the members at White Columns to be very friendly, fun-loving, and serious about their tennis.
