Kevin Kirk

Kevin is well prepared to lead the team at The Woodlands Golf Performance Center. He has tremendous passion for his work, has competed at a high level, has traveled around the globe seeking out the "World's Best Practice," and has spent over 30,000 hours teaching golf over the last 20 years. A former collegiate All-American, Kevin is a Master PGA Professional and a four-time recipient of the coveted STPGA Harvey Penick Teacher of the Year Award. Over the past five years, Kevin has become an expert in golf athlete development and high performance training both domestically and internationally, and has developed a stable of world-class players including multiple PGA Tour winners.

Pablo Del Olmo

Role: Player Development Team

Pablo, from Las Misiones Country Club in Monterrey, Mexico, brings a wealth of competitive experience to the table as he has eight top-ten finishes on the Asian Tour, is a Canadian Tour member (with a victory in 2002 on that Tour), and has been selected to compete in three World Cup Championships. He is also a member of the Mexican PGA, with two tournament victories on the Mexican Golf Tour, and has served as National Junior Golf Coach for the Mexican Golf Federation from 2006 to 2008. He has trained extensively with the game's elite coaches such as Kevin Kirk, Deborah Graham, Hank Haney, Simon Webb and Mac O'Grady. Additionally, Pablo has studied under Paula Mann and Dr. Stoyanka Angelova, both of the Mexican Olympic Committee.

Franci Betancourt

One of four bilingual instructors, Betancourt was a Venezuelan PGA Member for over 35 years before coming to the United States in 2000. During his competitive career, Franci represented Venezuela in the World Cup Competition three times. While Franci enjoys working with the game's youngest players and promoting junior golf, he is also instrumental in honing the short games of many of the touring professionals taught by The Woodlands Golf Performance Center team. 

Susie Redman

Role: Player Development Team
Serving Since: 2008

Redman, a PGA Class A Member and former LPGA member, played in over 500 professional events worldwide earning over $1,000,000. While Susie relates well to the female golfer, she also focuses energies on the senior adult, special needs children, and executing a successful off-campus physical education program in conjunction with the Conroe Independent School District.

Allen Riley

Role: Player Development Team
Serving Since: 2008

Also a former student of Kirk's, Riley, PGA Class "A" Professional, became one of the first certified "GolfPsych" Instructors in 1997. Along with full swing and short game instruction, Riley offers coaching on goal setting, mental preparedness and time management. He uses video swing analysis and enjoys teaching all levels of players.

James Larkin

James is a Class A PGA Professional and has played professionally since 2002. His specialties in instruction include: focusing on the development of Advanced Skilled Players of all ages, as well as teaching the full swing and the short game to ladies, seniors, and juniors. He is also a certified IFPA Personal Trainer.

Carlos Gorbena

Originally from Mexico, Carlos has been an instructor and director of golf for many different Mexican cities. He coached the Mexican Junior Team in tournaments throughout Mexico and the United States. Carlos is one of four bilingual instructors at the Performance Center. He specializes in both junior golfers and advanced players.

Bill Wening

Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, Bill Wening started playing golf at three years old.  After a successful junior career, Wening played college golf as a four-year-starter at St. Mary’s University in San Antonio.  After graduation, Bill played at the professional level from 2000- 2008.  Wening has played, taught and worked as an assistant golf professional in Houston for the last seven years; earning his ‘Class A’ status PGA Membership in 2013.  Wening’s most recent and significant competitive playing accomplishment was qualifying for the 2015 PGA Professional National Championship, and making the cut in all four rounds.  Bill enjoys working with all skill levels of Women, Junior’s, Senior’s and Men to improve their scores and enjoyment of the game.

Shirley Bianchi

Shirley is certified in Pilates and Fascial Strength Therapy, as well as Titleist Performance Institute Golf Fitness instruction. She has worked with professional and elite athletes of all ages, as well as the everyday person who desires to reach their optimal level of health, fitness and mind/body awareness. Her 20+ years of experience and education have elevated her to the highest level of manual and movement therapy. Her unique fundamental perspective and approach to health and fitness makes her one of the best in her field.

Troy Schleicher

A PGA Professional for over 30 years.   Level 1 Plane Truth Instructor, spent time learning from Jim Hardy, Chuck Cook, Stan Utley, James Leitz and Kevin Kirk.  Played in 2 PGA Tour events, 2012 Senior PGA Championship and 2013 US Senior Open, STPGA Senior Player of the year 2014. 

My goal for my students is a better ball flight through better impact, with the goal of correct repetitive swing.  I want you to better understand why the ball goes where it goes. 

Julio Vegas

Julio is from a small town in East Venezuela.  He played college golf at the University of Texas.  Julio turned professional in 2013 and played the PGA Latino America Tour from 2014-2017.  Accomplishments include winning the 2012 NCAA Championship, winning the 2012 Morris Williams intercollegiate, finishing T4 at the 2012 World Amateur Championship , competing in the 2013 US Amateur championship and representing his country at the 2016 World Cup of Golf in Australia. 

Julio has trained extensively with the games elite coaches and players such as Kevin Kirk, Franci Betancourt, Deborah Graham, Jay Brunza, Jordan Speith, Tom Kite, Ben Crenshaw and Jhonattan Vegas.

His focus as a golf instructor is to assist golfer to achieve their personal goals by providing them with an environment and expertise that will give them the best possible opportunity to succeed.

Troy Pullin

Role: Club Fitting Analyst

Troy has 13 years of club fitting experience.  He worked for Titleist for 3 years at the Oceanside, CA test facility and Manchester Lane test site.  He worked with elite players at every level including multiple major champions and world number 1’s. He also worked at PXG for the last 2 years, was responsible for training fitters and conducting VIP fittings.
