Avid Golfer Magazine Names All Dallas-Fort Worth-Area ClubCorp Country Clubs in its “Best of the Private Clubs 2014” Issue

DALLAS - ClubCorp, The World Leader in Private Clubs® (NYSE: MYCC). Avid Golfer magazine has released its annual “Best of Private Clubs 2014” issue and has again named all DFW-area country clubs in the ClubCorp family in a variety of categories.

In the “Best Country Club/Elite” category, Stonebriar Country Club in Frisco ranked No. 2 followed by Gleneagles Country Club in Plano at No. 3. Timarron Country Club in Southlake took the No. 1 spot in “Best Golf Club/Elite.”

The issue includes “The List,” which recognizes clubs for their unique appeal, and this year featured:

Additional clubs named in the “Best of Private Clubs” issue are Canyon Creek Country Club in Richardson, Prestonwood Country Club (The Creek in Dallas and The Hills in Plano), Oakmont Country Club in Corinth, and Shady Valley Country Club in Arlington.
