2007 Sepp Moser Gruner Veltliner "Breiter Rain"

This is a rich wine with a creamy texture and sweet spices along with mineral notes, balanced acidity and a full, long finish.


Second Course

Scallops (3 each) with a Citrus Beurre Blanc on a Bed of Greens

2009 Miner Viognier

Aromatically complex with citrus and honeysuckle notes on the nose and a plush feel on the palate that displays a fine balance of natural acidity
 and intense concentration.

12 oz Brant National Filet of Sirloin (Mike Andre knows the specifications/price) Topped with Béarnaise
Scalloped potatoes, mixed vegetable skewer with garlic

2008 Neyers Syrah "Old Lakeville Road" Sonoma Coast

This wine exhibits a dense ruby/purple color along with notes of roasted herbs, meat juices, tar, pepper, black cherries, black currants, and a hint of licorice. Drink it over the next 4-5 years. ~ Score: 88-90. —Robert Parker, February 2010.
