For 100 years, Girl Scouts has nurtured girls who are now distinguished women in government, business and philanthropy. Today, Girl Scouts of West Central Florida brings leadership and service to the forefront for nearly 22,000 Girl Scouts within our council’s area, including Tampa Bay. The values Girl Scouting bring to girls have never been more important than they are today. All Girl Scouts are required to abide by the Girl Scout Promise and Law, including being honest and fair, helpful, considerate, courageous and responsible for their actions, as well as to serve God and country. We think that’s pretty good training for future doctors, attorneys, commissioners, CEOs and scientists, not to mention moms! As the preeminent organization for girl leadership, we take this responsibility very seriously. And we need your help. Girl Scouting doesn’t just happen - it takes an investment from everyone who believes that today’s girls need and deserve every opportunity for success.
