Book Description
The book is a guided waterfront tour of Seattle’s Madison Park, Mercer Island, Bellevue, Medina, Hunts Point and Yarrow Point with 21, 32, 6, 41, 25, and 5 estates respectively. This shoreline is home to all of Washington state’s richest of the rich. Billionaire row, which has all the state’s Forbes’ list of "The 400 Richest Americans," is the 15 miles of waterfront from Steve Ballmer’s estate in Hunts Point to Paul Allen’s campus on Mercer Island. They both made their fortunes with Microsoft as did Bill Gates who lives on the Medina Waterfront. Craig and Bruce McCaw, who made their billions pioneering the cellular phone industry, are in Hunts Point and Medina and Jeff Bezos, of Amazon fame, is also on the Medina waterfront. Starbucks’ founder, both Costco co-founders and many members of the Nordstrom family have homes in the book. The book contains 305 color photographs with stories and statistics of 130 of Lake Washington’s most magnificent mansions and estates creatively woven with current and historical information about the homes, owners, their businesses and the communities.

Prior to computers and the Internet public personal information was buried in archives. Now that this information is easily accessible, Internet sites are publishing public personal information along with satellite photographs and the location of people’s homes. This is the first book-in-print with these characteristics but the book has waterfront, instead of satellite, photographs.

Lake Washington 130 Homes is for anyone who has a fascination with unique homes of the rich and famous or likes to read about celebrities and community leaders. It is a must-have guide book for anyone cruising or boating on Lake Washington.
