This Veteran’s Day, we will be having a very special event for the kids of Anthem Golf & Country Club.
Tom Derryberry is a former Marine and is currently the Commander of the Daisy Mountain Veterans. He, along with other Veterans, will be talking with the kids about the meaning of Veteran’s Day. The kids will then have an opportunity to write holiday letters to the “Victory House”, a charity program located in downtown Phoenix that helps homeless Veterans get back to self-sufficiency. Kids and Parents will have an opportunity to have lunch with the Veteran's after the program as well. This is optional as lunch is sold separately.
