The Capital Society is an association of private and semi-private social, dining and golf clubs in the Greater Washington, DC Metropolitan area. The Society also partners with 22 Societies nationwide and more than 200 ClubCorp Clubs worldwide, including The Homestead in Hot Springs, Virginia and Barton Creek Resort in Austin, Texas.
These clubs have been chosen to provide a variety of locations to conduct business, entertain clients, socialize, enjoy golf or relax with family and friends. This select group of clubs, each with its own reputation for excellence, offers a variety of services and amenities that give special attention to your business and social needs.
In addition to our club's amenities, the Capital Society provides a superb concierge service to our members fulfilling their entertainment needs locally and nationwide. The concierge privilege includes an exclusive VIP ticket connection to major venues for the performing arts, concerts and sporting events in the metro area. Venues include the Verizon Center, the Warner Theater, the National Theater, Wolf Trap Theater for the Performing Arts and FedExField.
Society membership is an elite classification offered ONLY to private club members belonging to the Society who wish to upgrade their existing club membership privileges. Society members pay additional monthly dues to their Home Club in order to enjoy the membership privileges within the Society.
The Capital Society is more than club reciprocity . . . it is a true "Club within a Club". The Society has its own Board of Governors and provides a diverse network of special interests and "society only activities". The mission of the Capital Society is to provide members with the ultimate level of personalized service, first class club properties, and premier events that will enhance their overall membership experience.
