CLUB HISTORY
Located at the top of One Liberty Square building in the heart of downtown Greenville, the Commerce Club is a comfortable home to over 1,500 Members. The warm, gracious surroundings of the Club provide an ambiance of distinction and relaxation.
The Commerce Club was established in 1984 and the grand opening gala was held on June 9, 1984. With over 15,000 square feet of dining and meeting rooms, the Commerce Club was designed as a "home away from home" for Members and their family members, friends and business associates.
The Commerce Club's founding Board of Governors had a vision of establishing a place for a diverse Membership to meet with colleagues, entertain guests and dine in warm and friendly surroundings.
CONCEPT
The Commerce Club is dedicated to providing the highest level of excellence in elegant dining and gracious service in a traditional private club atmosphere. The Commerce Club is intended as a place of fellowship where Members may meet their family, friends and business associates to satisfy their entertainment needs and find a measure of peaceful relaxation.
