Teal Bend Golf Club is the first design by former PGA Tour professional, and local architect, Brad Bell. Opening to the public in 1997, Teal Bend has quickly become a favorite of Sacramento golfers. Located in the fertile floodplain between the International Airport and the Sacramento River, Teal Bend has some of the finest turf conditions in the Sacramento Valley.
Named for the Teal duck, which inhabits the property, Teal Bend is home to all kinds of local wildlife. While playing Teal Bend don't be surprised if you see deer prancing across a fairway, or a hawk swooping on the fish that inhabit the three lakes on the golf course. Although located only fifteen minutes from downtown Sacramento, Teal Bend's natural surroundings and quiet setting will make you feel like you are in the country.
Teal Bend's championship golf course features four sets of tees, ranging from 5000 yards to over 7000 yards, make it an enjoyable experience for golfers of all abilities. The native areas that line many of the holes give the course in immediate established feel. The undulating greens are the real signature of the golf course. They offer a smooth, consistent surface from 1 through 18 year round.
