Meet your Private Event Team
Senior Private Event Director, Robin Wharton joined the University Center Club in August of 2008. Robin has held numerous positions within ClubCorp including Assistant Food and Beverage Manager, Food and Beverage Manager, Catering Director, and Membership Director. Robin had previously worked with General Manager, Tracy Marple at the Shoreby Club in Bratenahl, Ohio and relocated to Tallahassee with her husband, Ralph and son, Jonathan.
Private Event Manager, Christy Bowen graduated spring of 2009 from the University of Florida with a Bachelor’s degree in Recreation, Parks & Tourism with a specialization in Special Events. Christy joined the University Center Club in January to complete her final semester of schooling with an internship. Her hard work and dedication proved that she is a valuable asset to the Club. Christy has now relocated to Tallahassee from her home in Ocala, FL and is excited to help you create your dream event!
The final member of the Catering & Private Event Team is Meredith Meisler. Meredith has worked at the Club in the Osceola Grille for 4 years. She recently graduated from the Dedman School of Hospitality at Florida State University and has transferred to the Catering Department. Meredith will be the Private Event Assistant and is excited to continue her career with ClubCorp.
