The centerpiece of this neighborhood is the award winning Diamante golf course, one of the most challenging, yet flexible golf courses ever built. The unique design makes Diamante play as though it is five golf courses in one. With five sets of tees, ranging in distance of 7,560 yards to a more moderate 5,322 yards, the course challenges both low and high handicappers. Golfers hit from sodded zoysia fairways to manicured bentgrass carpet-like greens that average 6,500 square feet.
Golf Digest officially ranked Diamante as the Number 1 golf course in Arkansas in 1997, 1998, 1999 and 2000. In 2009, the magazine ranked the course as the 38th most difficult course in the United States.
Private Clubs magazine labeled Diamante as a "
Monster Course" in 2006 and included it as one of the
10 Toughest ClubCorp Courses. Additionally, in 2006, hole #17 was voted as the
Arkansas Democrat Gazette readers' favorite par four hole in the state of Arkansas. There is an outstanding golf driving range with elevated tee overlooking the Ouachita Mountains. Large chipping and putting areas are also provided.
