At the Neuse, sensational rock outcroppings and rolling hills twist and turn along the banks of the Neuse River. Each hole here is dramatically different, with surprises at every bunker and dogleg. It makes you feel like you're on a peaceful mountainside, with stately pines and a lazy winding river. But, rest assured, this is rock-n-roll golf from start to finish.
Play it and you'll see why GOLF DIGEST named The Neuse "The Best New Public Golf Course in North Carolina." In addition, The Neuse received a 4 1/2 star rating for places to play in the year 2000, 2001 & 2002.
In addition in 2002, Business Week magazine honored the Neuse with the distinction of being the 2nd best public access course to entertain business clients in North Carolina. This is an outstanding award as we finished 2nd to the world famous Pinehurst #2.
