The foundation of the Rivers Club is its Board of Governors, which is comprised of influential and accomplished men and women from widely differing fields of endeavor. These individuals give their time, support, and invaluable experience to guide the operations of this private Downtown Pittsburgh athletic and social club so that it exceeds the expectations of Club Members. By direction of Board of Governors, Membership in the Rivers Club is by invitation only, requires a sponsoring Member from the Club and approval from the Membership Committee. All Memberships provide equal privileges to Member and Co-Member (spouse or significant other) and may be held by an individual or a corporation. Unlike other Private Member Clubs, there are not any food and beverage minimums or assessment fees.
In addition, Candidates will meet with the Club's Membership Directors for a tour and interview to better determine the Candidates needs and desires. Once a Candidate applies for Membership and is accepted, a New Member Orientation is required at which time the New Members will have the opportunity to meet the Club's Management Team, learn more about Club benefits, and network with other New Members.
