In the very beginning, the founding Members recognized the great opportunities they had to brighten the future of their community through improving the lives of children. With this in mind, Members created it's own nonprofit organization, the Houston Society Community Fund.
The informal motto of the Community Fund says "If you want good Members from the community you serve, then you must be a good Member of the community". Since 1996, the Houston Society members have raised over 1,000,000 toward charities that benefit the children of Houston. Funds are raised in three ways: Participating clubs host events throughout the year to raise funds for their Society Charity of Choice, the Houston Society has a raffle once per year for an item to raise funds, there is also one Society event each year which dedicated funds to the charity. What makes the Society unique is the ability to enlist the many talents and influence of Members from 12 private clubs in Houston in one common cause, making our world better one child at a time.
Through the united efforts of our Houston Society Members and Employee Partners, we will continue in our tradition of good stewardship to make a significant difference in the lives of the children in our communities.
