The development of Northwood Country Club began in 1959 on rural farmland located just 25 miles form Atlanta. Gwinnett’s first private club is nestled among 220 acres of gently rolling terrain with streams meandering throughout the course.
Designed by Willard Byrd, Northwood Country Club was borne of a rustic, rural land and holds true to those roots today. The 18-hole course extends across 6,800 yards of undulating hills, a scene emphasized by breathtaking seasonal color.
An unusually peaceful practice spot specifically designed for 50 yards or closer features chipping and bunker shots. Other amenities include a putting green and driving range that make for an inspiring mix of golf, nature, and wildlife that are part and parcel of the overall experience
Other Club features include a 15,000 full service clubhouse with private dining and meeting areas. Our outside patio has a panoramic view overlooking hole #9 and our practice facilities.
The fully stocked Pro Shop is available for last minute needs or gifts. We also have men's and ladies locker room available before and after your round.
