Walnut Creek's
3rd Annual Turkey Trot
Thanksgiving Morning, November 26th
8:30am to 10:00am
#1 Tee Box on Oak Course (across from Tennis courts)
2 mile or 4 mile Fun Run/Walk
Join us for our 3rd Annual Turkey Trot! Each year we continue to double the number of entrants into the race! We had over 120 total people participate last year and we would love to double that number again this year! The Club's Manager, Eric Walker, dresses up in a fun Turkey Costume and cheers the runners/walkers on for a fun family event. Complimentary pictures will be taken by Amber Lord, our Member Services Manager and mailed out to all participants. Your bib number must be worn in the front in order for the Club to know who to mail the picture(s) to.
All registered runners/walkers must fill out a liability form located at the front desk beginning Sunday, November 1st. All participants must complete the liability form before receiving a bib. No EXCEPTIONS Please.
There will be no race day registration. You must register before 1pm on November 25th in order to receive a bib and be able to participate. No EXCEPTIONS Please.
Race Day Packets
Race Day Packets will be ready to be picked up the week of the event. There will also be NO RACE DAY Packet Pick-Ups as this causes a delay in our event starting on time. Due to Corporate policy, if you do not have a bib, you will not be able to participate.
The event is complimentary to members and their guests but registration is required. Non-members, not a guest of a member, are welcome to participate but will incur a small fee. Non-members may call 817-473-6111 for questions or to register.
You can register online or by calling the front desk at: 817-473-6111. T-shirts will be available again this year. When you call to reserve, please tell us the quantity and sizes needed. We will have adult men size shirts and young sizes available. T-shirts are $10 per shirt and all proceeds will benefit a local food bank.
Our goal is to make this a fun and safe family event for the whole family. We hope to make this a great tradition for years to come! See you there!
