Board of Governors Elections A Call For Candidates
We have had two outstanding years of representation on the Anthem Golf & Country Club Board of Governors (BOG). We will again be holding elections this year and encourage all Members of the Club to be involved as we move forward with the election process and voting.
We will hold elections for four open at-large seats in February, 2010. The BOG currently seeks interested candidates to serve.
Board of Governors Roles and Responsibilities: The Board of Governors (BOG) represents the voice of the general Membership to Club management, providing advice and counsel to ensure our Club management is responsive and sensitive to the needs of the Membership. The Board works hand-in-hand with Club management in establishing policies and procedures for the Club.
The BOG at-large Members serve two-year terms. Each BOG Member is expected to attend monthly meetings, currently at 4:00 p.m. on the second Monday of each month. Each at-large Member also serves as a liaison on one of the BOG Committees: Food and Beverage, Tennis, Fitness, Membership and Greens. A complete description of the BOG and the BOG Committees may be found in the Members Only section of the Anthem Golf & County Club website, www.anthemclubaz.com.
ELECTION PROCESS: In accordance with the BOG bylaws, the following election process has been defined:
