John Rodriguez

Role: General Manager
Serving Since: 2012
Phone Number: 919.962.3802

One of my finest career moments was accepting the General Manager’s position at The Carolina Club. Steeped in rich tradition and nestled on the beautiful campus of the country’s finest University, it is truly one of the premiere places to be and a privilege I hold in high regard.

The Carolina Club has long been considered the crown jewel in the ClubCorp family and our twenty plus year association with the General Alumni Association is a treasured relationship. We strive to honor and respect the history of the Club, as well as creating fresh, new and memorable traditions with an eye to the future.

My background in the hospitality industry stretches over four decades, covering guest hospitality in many forms from private membership clubs to fabulous dining locations to overseeing some of the world’s greatest sporting events and venues. My grandparents started me at the lowest rung of the ladder in their restaurant, impressing upon me at a very young age the importance of respect and cooperation with all you work with as the keys to every success. The mantra “simple, but consistent”was ingrained in me early on, and I hold on to it firmly as my experience grows.

I welcome you to our Club and look forward to making your Carolina Club experiences memorable, welcoming and above all, enjoyable. The Club is where you’ll find comfort, southern hospitality and warm friendly smiles. I look forward to creating and celebrating many life celebrations with our great Members and your guests.

During her free time, JJ enjoys traveling, watching college sports and spending time with her husband and two daughters, Preston, Anna and Megan.  “Life is busy but I would not have it any other way!”  JJ loves planning all types of events but really enjoys meeting new members/clients and building strong relationships with them.
