Jeff was born and raised in the Chicago suburb of Woodridge, IL. Jeff grew up in the golf and country club industry as his father recently retired after serving 48 years in the industry. Jeff is a graduate of Penn State University where he majored in Turfgrass Management. During his time at Penn State, Jeff was able to intern and work at Canoe Brook Country Club in Summit, NJ for four seasons. Prior to joining ClubCorp, at Chantilly National, he spent sixteen years serving in numerous golf industry roles including Regional Agronomist, General Manager, and Golf Course Superintendent. Jeff has lived in northern Virginia for sixteen years now and currently resides in Winchester, VA. Jeff is excited to be joining Chantilly National Golf and Country Club and looks forwards to leading an outstanding team in creating memorable experiences for its membership.
A native to Northern Virginia, Laura attended James Madison High School and graduated George Mason University with a degree in Psychology. She has been married for over ten years and has two beautiful daughters named Madison and Ava. A lover of nature and extreme sports. In the winter months she enjoys snowboarding. Hiking and trips to her family’s cottage on the Beach in Maine are her favorite summertime activities. Yoga is a big part of Laura’s life; she started young when her mother was an instructor and aims for starting every day with a morning routine. On the weekends you can find Laura cheering her oldest daughter on at her soccer games.

Katie Simmons was born and raised in Northern Virginia and attended George Mason University where she studied English and Hospitality and Tourism. She has worked in private event sales, marketing and management since 2002 and recently joined the Chantilly National team as their Membership Director. Katie currently lives in Warrenton, Virginia with her husband and nine year old daughter.
Originally from Frederick, Maryland, Amanda first developed a passion for events and hospitality working at Holly Hills Country Club. She attended Radford University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Studies. Amanda joined the ClubCorp family in May of 2016 as Banquet Manager at River Creek Club in Leesburg, VA. She was soon promoted to Private Events Coordinator in October of 2016. When she is not at the Club, Amanda enjoys cooking, visiting local wineries, and spending time with her husband, Kevin and daughter, Ava.

Ozan was born and raised in Adana, Turkey by the Mediterranean coast. He has been in the restaurant business since he was 13 years old. Hospitality runs in his family, he grew up helping his father and grandfather at their family owned cafeteria on Turkey’s Mediterranean coast; eventually studying hotel management in college before securing a food and beverage internship in the United States. Intending to only stay in the country a year, he gained experience at the Vail Marriott Resort & Spa, where he worked in every department in food and beverage.
More than 15 years later he has made the U.S. his home with a career that included management at the now closed Tavolaccio Italian restaurant and wine bar in Edwards, Colorado where he was also on the opening team of Tavolaccio’s adjacent tapas bar.
Prior to joining ClubCorp he spent two and a half years with Kimpton Hotels, including Dupont Circle as General Manager of Restaurant Operations. Prior to that, he spent 7 years with Ritz Carlton Hotels, including The Ritz Carlton Georgetown as the Director of Food and Beverage.
Over 13 years of luxury hotel management experience in upscale hotels around the United States with high profile guests has provided him the opportunity to develop sophistication and interpersonal skills required in such environments. His strong focus on customer service delivery is complimented by an understanding of the importance of bringing warmth, friendliness and reliability into the role of a leader. His passion for food and service comes through in everything he does managing the F&B operations: “I want to create guests for a lifetime – and that starts with the first impression.” In Ozan’s free time he enjoys watching Top Chef. He is a big fan of David Chang, Ferran Adria and Rene Redzepi. He loves going to the farmer’s market and growing his own fresh herbs and vegetables in his mini garden. He also enjoys spending time with his wife and two children at their home in Arlington, Virginia.

Matt joins our team with over 20 years of teaching experience. He has been ranked Nationally #5 35s Team Doubles and #16 35s Individual. Matt is a 3 time 5.0 USTA National Championship participant as well as Over 25 Mid Atlantic Singles and Doubles Championships. Prior to coming to Chantilly, Matt played on 2 Mid Atlantic Section Talbert Cup Champion Teams in 2014 and 2015. In 2003, Matt was a 4.5 National Champion in 2003. Matt is a proud father of soccer goalie sensation, Ashley Bilger.

Ryan was born and raised in Brockway, Pennsylvania. He is a graduate of Penn State University, where he majored in Recreation, Parks & Tourism Management – Professional Golf Management Program. During his time at Penn State, Ryan had the opportunity to intern and work at The Country Club in Brookline Massachusetts and The Ridgewood Country Club in Paramus, New Jersey. Prior to joining ClubCorp as General Manager at Greenbrier Country Club in Chesapeake, VA, he spent ten years at Swan Point Yacht & Country Club serving as Head Golf Professional for 7 years before being promoted to General Manager. Ryan is married to his wife, Nicole and has two children, Andrew 7 years old and Kaelynn 5 years old. Ryan is excited to joining the team at Chantilly National and looks forward to growing the game and enhancing your golf experience at Chantilly National.

A Fairfax County native, Jared has spent his career in the DC-Metro area food scene before joining Club Corp at River Creek Club in October 2017. His most influential experience was working with award winning Chef Tarver King at Patowmack Farm, where he developed a passion for local ingredients. Growing vegetables, foraging wild herbs, and building relationships with local livestock farmers develops an appreciation for each component that goes into creating a dish and a greater understanding for where the food that we eat comes from.
His wife is from Peru, and he loves exploring the national cuisine in the times they spent there together. He always looks forward to family dinners, and loves looking for ways to bring out those flavors in his own cooking.

Michael started his professional career at Chantilly National in 1994 as a member of golf course maintenance team. After graduating from Virginia Tech in 1999 with a degree in horticulture and agronomy he returned to Chantilly National as the 2nd assistant superintendent. After several years as the assistant superintendent at a local golf club and a year in the landscape irrigation industry, Michael returned to Chantilly National in 2005 before being promoted to his current role as the golf course superintendent in 2010.
Michael has been associated with Chantilly National for more than 20 years and has seen many changes to the club and golf course during that time. He is very excited and optimistic about what the future holds for Chantilly National and feels honored to be a part of it.
Michael lives in Warrenton, VA with his wife, Jennifer, and children Emma and Jack.
