Desert Falls was designed by world-renowned architect, Ron Frehm. Mr. Frehm designed golf courses in more than 50 countries and six continents, including courses for Euro Disney and the Sultan of Brunei. His designs are always one-of-a-kind – never mirrored or duplicated – with an emphasis on traditional and historic design.

Desert Falls was host to the Frank Sinatra Celebrity Open from 1990 to 1993, and the Don Drysdale Hall of Fame Golf Classic. The Senior Classic was also played here. Desert Falls is one of only five courses in the desert that earned a 145 slope rating (or higher) and remains a PGA qualifying course.
