After graduating from the University of Texas at Arlington, Diane taught school for 8 years. Having played on her high school golf team and one year in college, she decided to pursue a career in golf. After a stint as assistant and then head pro at a private club in Fort Worth, she decided to move to the desert in 1993.
She previously worked at Cathedral Canyon, Palm Springs Country Club, and Indian Springs. When an opportunity arose for her to purchase her own course outside Kansas City, MO, she took the plunge. In her 12 years at her nine-hole course, she learned so much about greenskeeping and a bit about food and beverage, among other things. Weather in the Midwest limits the golf season and she really missed the desert.
Diane’s past 8 years have been just down the street at Palm Valley Country Club. Diane teaches lessons in group settings or individual sessions. She has a lot of ideas that she would like to implement at Desert Falls and looks forward to getting to know all of our Members.
