Tom is a 30 year veteran of the golf industry and was elected into the PGA of America in 1991. He worked for KemperSports Management for 25 years serving as a golf professional, General Manager and Regional Vice President based in the Mid-Atlantic Region. He has worked with numerous clubs in the area and has experience in both the public and private sector. Tom is passionate about golf and serving his members and guests.
Tom has lived in the Baltimore area for 22 years with his wife Cindy and two children Blake and Emmy.

Amy is an Eastern Shore native who moved to Baltimore during her teenage years. After high school, she tried her hand at Fashion Design only to discover that Event Planning was where her passion truly lies. Prior to joining Eagle’s Nest, Amy worked at UnderArmour clothing company for 9 years beginning in 2006. She started in the accounting department and eventually worked her way up to being a member of the Private Events Team. When Amy is not planning the perfect event, she loves spending time with her husband Arek and their furry dog child, Kaz, a golden retriever.

Nick Miller received his Class A PGA Certification in 2012 and has been a golf professional for the past ten years. He has had the privilege of working at South Hills Golf Club, Timber Ridge Golf Club, Lake Presidential, and Crofton Country Club. Nick joined the Eagle’s Nest team in 2017 and brings an extensive experience with instruction, golf operations management, and a reputable playing pedigree to include the course record of 66 at Timber Ridge Golf Club. Nick was born and raised in Hanover, PA, and attended Delone Catholic High School where he once held the low scoring record of 68. He played collegiate golf at Coastal Carolina and Penn State University before attempting the mini-tours. Nick enjoys to watch sporting events on all levels and spending quality time with his son Blake and wife Tara.

Sydney Gasche joins the Eagle’s Nest Country Club team with several years of experience in the golf industry. He has helped open a new public course as the first golf assistant, and before joining the club, he held a position selling golf trip packages within the Mid-Atlantic region. Being a native of Seattle, WA, he can be found cheering on his beloved Seahawks during football season. In his free time, Sydney enjoys golfing, swimming, and spending as much time as possible with his son Carter, daughter Camryn, and wife Becky.
Lexi is a 2015 graduate of Penn State University with a degree in Recreation, Park, and Tourism Management with a special focus on event planning. Originally from Allentown, Pennsylvania she just recently moved to the Baltimore area from Wichita, Kansas where she worked for the Park & Recreation department for the city. She comes into this new role with ten years of customer service experience and a passion to use her knowledge in event planning. When she is not at the club, Lexi enjoys anything outdoors including gardening, hiking, kayaking, and spending time with her husband Brandon and their two cats Maverick and Goose.

Frank Olszewski has been a golf professional for 9 years, the last 8 years having been here at Eagle’s Nest. Frank was born and raised in Lutherville, MD and attended Calvert Hall College High School. He graduated with a sports management major from Towson University while playing a full 4 years on their golf team. He is well versed in coaching and teaching junior golf, having run the junior program at Eagle’s Nest since 2011 and previously coached the Pine Ridge junior golf team from 2004-2008. Frank is a big Baltimore sports fan and an avid supporter of the Baltimore Ravens and the Baltimore Orioles.

Matthew began his career in hospitality over 20 years ago as a prep cook for Clyde’s Restaurant Group. Working at the esteemed Savage River Lodge in western Maryland through college, Matthew returned to Baltimore as a part of the opening team for Eggspectations, INC. Focusing on the culinary side of operations, he was on the opening teams for both the Hilton hotel in downtown Baltimore and The Hotel Monaco Baltimore. After five years with Hotel Monaco, Matthew left to pursue opportunities in restaurant development and operations. He has worked with One Eleven Main in Bel Air, MD, Five and Dime Alehouse in Hampden, MD, and most recently the Sagamore Pendry Hotel in Fells Point. Matthew is excited to be a part of the Eagle’s Nest team and looks forward to creating a memorable experience for all members.

Executive Chef Daniel Benedix has joined Eagle’s Nest Country Club after traveling throughout New York City and Chicago with the Four Seasons Hotel and Waldorf Astoria Hotel. He recently moved with his family to Towson, Maryland where he became the Executive Chef at Green Spring Valley Hunt Club. From there, he worked with the Sheraton Hotel in Towson. Now, Daniel gets to continue his culinary passion with the members of Eagle’s Nest Country Club.

Doug Hall is your Golf Course Superintendent. This is his 10th year at Eagle’s Nest. Prior to joining the staff, he was the West Course Superintendent at the Baltimore Country Club for 6 years and the Assistant West Course Superintendent for 6 years before that. Doug has been married to his wife Samantha for 17 years and they have 3 children: Jacob, 12, Elizabeth, 10 and Sammy, 8. He also can’t forget to mention his two dogs Brisco and Lord Bowler. They enjoy spending their family time together outdoors fishing and camping.

Justin has dedicated almost his entire life to the game of tennis and has been the Head Tennis Professional at Eagle’s Nest since 1996. He has been a tennis professional at a country club since 1987.
Justin first picked up a racket in 1977 at age seven and by 1980 was competing in USTA junior tournaments throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. He held several USTA rankings as a junior player and was the #1 Boy’s Varsity Singles player at Towson Senior High School from 1985-1988. His senior year he placed 1st in Baltimore County Boy’s Singles and 4th in Maryland State Boy’s Singles High School Tournament.
In the summer of 1987, Justin began his teaching career as an assistant pro at the L’Hirondelle Club in Ruxton, MD. He was the assistant at L’Hirondelle for 8 seasons, becoming a USPTA certified “elite level” professional in 1992. During this time period Justin played collegiate tennis as a varsity starter at Washington College (1988-1989) and Towson State University (1990-1993). He helped his Washington College team to a Middle Atlantic States Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship and 4th Place finish in the NCAA National Division 3 Championship in 1989. At Towson State University, he played three seasons as a varsity starter competing at the NCAA Division I level and helping the Tigers to a 2nd place finish at the East Coast Conference Championships in 1990. From 1989-1994 Justin was on the pro staff at Bare Hills Athletic Club before moving over to Orchard Indoor Tennis Club in 1995 where he currently is on the pro staff during the indoor seasons.
Although his main passion is teaching the game to others and running the tennis program at Eagle’s Nest, Justin still enjoys competing and he periodically plays in USTA tournaments at the state and national level. In 2005 he won the USTA Maryland State Men’s 35’s indoor Singles Championships and finished that year ranked #1 In Maryland in Men’s 35 and over by the USTA. Justin recently competed at a 2015 USTA National 45’s Tournament and reached the round of 16.
Each season, Justin strives to deliver a tennis program that offers something for every age and level to enjoy at Eagle’s Nest. He feels his greatest successes are the many friendships he has witnessed form at the club through the various programs he’s designed at the courts. Justin loves to see Eagle’s Nest members enjoying the great fun and health benefits of tennis! Outside of his tennis and work at the club, Justin is devoted to his wife, Julie, of 22 years and his son Will (16) and daughter Paige (14).
