James Thompson

Serving Since: 2011
Phone Number: 704.843.3111

We would like to introduce James our PGA Head Golf Professional. Coming up on 15 years in the business, his past experience includes TPC Piper Glen, Kennett Square Golf and Country Club, and 6 years instructing golf with ESPN golf schools. Originally from Minnesota, James is a graduate of Mississippi State University where he was surrounded by peers and industry experts in the Professional Golf Management program. This provided him with an extensive education for his chosen career. He enjoys spending time with his family, wife Amanda, and 6-year-old daughter Allie.

Teaching Philosophy: “I give my students the best possible chance to improve. I simplify a complex game by concentrating on two factors, swing plane and club face. Perfecting these factors will allow for more consistency, better control, and more distance.”
