Peter relocated from Washington, DC, with his wife, Kristen, two daughters Charlotte and Kate. Peter has extensive experience in hospitality, as he served as General Manager of the City Club of Washington, DC.; Chef and Front of House Manager at The Four Seasons - Atlanta; Assistant General Manager, Banquet Operations Manager and Director of Banquets and Private Dining at Brinker International; General Manager at Redstick Golf Club; and General Manager/COO/Food and Beverage Operations at Rehoboth Beach Country Club. Peter earned a culinary degree from the Art Institute of Atlanta, and is a certified Executive Chef. He has cooked for Madonna, Paul McCartney, two presidents and three first ladies!

Mike Krick

He grew up in Williamsport, PA. (Home of the Little League World Series). His father was the Head Golf Professional at Williamsport Country Club. In his family, his father, Uncle Phil, Cousin, Phil Jr., and brother-in-law Mark are all PGA golf professionals. He earned a B.S. degree with a concentration in Golf Management from Methodist College in 1991. His first position was at Ford’s Colony in Williamsburg VA. At that time Ford’s Colony was a 36-hole facility and has now grown to 54 holes. In 1994, he took a position as Assistant Golf Professional at Wee Burn Country Club in Darien, CT. He would spend his summers at Wee Burn and worked winters in FL. He spent one winter at Grand Cypress and the other three at The Windsor Club, in Vero Beach. He also taught at the Pace-Sheftic Golf Schools. In 1995, Mike earned his Class A Certification from the PGA of America. In the Fall of 1998, He was named the Head Golf Professional at Carolina Trace Country Club which he worked in that capacity for more than 17 years. February of 2016 Mike returned to Ford’s Colony Country Club as the Director of Golf. He and his wife Stacy live in Williamsburg, Va.

Jessica Henderson

Jessica is a native of Arlington, Virginia and recently relocated to Williamsburg to join the Ford's Colony team! With over ten years in the event planning and production space; she has gained invaluable knowledge and experience that will help her excel as an asset for Fords Colony clients and guest.Her diverse background has spanned the corporate, nonprofit, hotel and wedding industries. She attended the Art Institute of Washington, D.C. studying marketing and merchandising. She prides herself on being resourceful while leveraging her creativity, and passion for design to keep client goals and experience at the forefront. When Jessica is not planning or producing events, she enjoys reading, hiking, traveling and spending time with her family. Priscilla has called Williamsburg home since 1985. She is an Accredited Public Relations practitioner (APR), with 20+ years of progressive responsibility, leadership, strategic PR, development, marketing and communications experience for hospitality and tourism, economic development, technology, nonprofits and education. Priscilla has led communications for a chamber of commerce, convention & visitors bureau, a NASA affiliate, advocacy organizations, and educational institutions. Her specialties include external communications, media, and public relations. Eric Simmons

Eric brings a variety of professional experiences to the Ford’s Colony Golf Academy including roles as a swing coach, club fitter, club repair specialist and top junior instructor. He has held similar positions at Holly Hills Country Club, Whiskey Creek Golf Club in Maryland, and Independence Golf Club in Virgina.

Eric has a passion to help each player achieve their playing goals while working within the frame work of golf laws and principles. His main focus is to help players build on their current abilities using unique practice routines, videos analysis, and a greater understanding of how motor skills are learned.

Chrissy Griffiths is our golf conditioning expert. She helps golfers hit the ball farther and more consistently, and prevent pain and injury through specialized assessments and customized physical training. In addition, she uses 3D motion capture technology for gaining a better insight into how she can help her clients improve their biomechanics and prevent injury. Chrissy can help you improve your mobility (flexibility), stability, posture, strength, speed, and power so that you can hit the ball farther and more consistently, and with less pain and injury. Her assessments are developed specifically for golfers by the Titleist Performance Institute. Find out exactly what you need to work on to improve your biomechanics for golf and prevent injury.

She holds the following credentials: 

-Titleist Performance Institute Level 3 Golf Fitness (highest level)

-NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist

Chrissy has been serving golf athletes for years at several clubs in Virginia, including the Fredericksburg Country Club, The Golden Horseshoe Golf Club, Fawn Lake Country Club, and River Creek Club. She also has her own golf performance studio near Fredericksburg, Virginia. She is available by appointment at Ford’s Colony Country Club.

John Marshall

John graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelors in Turf Management and minor in Landscape Design in 1985.  He moved to Virginia Beach after graduation to work at Hell's Point Golf Club.  The owner of Hell's Point decided to build another course in 1987, Owls Creek also in Virginia Beach where John oversaw the construction, grow-in, and maintenance until 1994.  John eventually moved to Williamsburg in 1994 to work for Legends Golf.  He was involved in the construction and grow-in of Stonehouse Golf Club and Royal New Kent Golf Club.

John was hired by Carolina Golf Group to oversee the construction and grow-in of Kiskiack Golf Club in Williamsburg in 1997 and worked there as Superintendent until 2007.  He then was hired by Boddie-Noell to oversee the construction, grow-in and maintenance of The Club at Viniterra in New Kent County.  

Elizabeth Beebe

Elizabeth was born and raised in Newport News, VA. In 2010, Elizabeth received her Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising with minors in Public Relations and Sociology from Radford University. She has been with ClubCorp since 2012, starting her career as the Private Events Director at Greenbrier Country Club. In 2015 she was promoted to Service Director at Greenbrier Country Club in Chesapeake, VA. In her free time, she enjoys traveling to Canada to visit family.
