Jim Murphy

Jim moved to Scottsdale from Colorado in 1988 and joined the team at Gainey Ranch Golf Club. A 25 year PGA member and past President of the Southwest Section PGA he has held positions of Head Professional, Director of golf and currently General Manager. Jim enjoys spending time with his wife and kids and loves the outdoors. He has a passion for charity fundraising and giving back to the community. 

Robert Andrews

Robert Began his career with ClubCorp and Gainey Ranch Golf Club in 1991 at the age of 16.  Has done man duties such as washing carts, locker room, outside service, assistant golf pro and tournament coordinator.  In 2014 Robert accepted the role as Membership Director.Robert is originally from Springs South Africa but moved all over the world until moving to Scottsdale in 1989.  His Parents Joined Gainey Ranch as members when they moved here from Houston in 1989.  Robert has been calling Gainey Ranch his second family since 1989.He enjoys watching most all sports but has a passion for Soccer and if there is a Manchester United game on he will be watching. 

Lauren Ogle

Born and raised in Southern California, Lauren always had a knack for event planning and design. While attending Arizona State University, Lauren began her career at a boutique Scottsdale hotel and eventually moved into large resorts and hotels. Lauren continued to exercise her natural skill set in event planning while absorbing new aptitudes and trends. Inspired by her meticulous attention to detail and appreciation for personal touches, Lauren later joined Southern California’s premier catering company where she specialized in weddings and corporate events with over 20 preferred venues, sometimes performing 16 weddings in one day! It was there that Lauren discovered her inner-foodie and immense passion for flawlessly executed events and weddings. After her husband’s relocation to Arizona, Lauren found herself at the Phoenix Convention Center for two years focusing on corporate, non-profit, government and social markets. Her scale of events ranged from small meetings of 20 guests to galas of over 2,000 guests. Her largest event to date is the ever-growing Phoenix Comicon where she coordinated catering and concessions for the event’s entirety, drawing over 100,000 guests in one weekend. In 2015, Lauren gained the opportunity to work with the National Football League for the NFL Experience and NFL Honors, where she created custom high-end menus for team owners, coaches, players, and staff. Lauren joined Gainey in August 2015 and hasn't looked back since! In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two beagles and can usually be found in her backyard listening to Dave Matthews Band. 

Matt Anzalone

Matt is a  Class A PGA professional and member of the Southwest Section of the PGA of America. Matt graduated from Arizona State University in 2009 with a degree in Agribusiness and Professional Golf Management.  He has been a Class A PGA member since 2009 and has worked within the Wisconsin and Southwest regions since 2005.  

Matt joined Gainey Ranch in 2007 as an assistant golf professional and became the Club’s head golf professional in 2011.

Matt serves on the Board of Directors for the Southwest Section PGA and is the Assistant Coach of the Varsity Men's Golf team at Chaparral High School. 

Matt’s awards include National ClubCorp Rising Star and Super Star awards.  

Ron Wojcicki

Role: Food & Beverage Director

Ron Wojcicki is a Pennsylvania native who has lived in Arizona since 1994. He has been the Food and Beverage Director for Gainey Ranch Golf Club since 2012. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management from Penn State and traveled from state to state acquiring various skills of a restaurateur from family owned restaurants to 5-star, 5-diamond hotels and resorts. Ron eventually settled in Arizona where he attended Arizona State University to earn a Master’s Degree in Education.

Although he enjoyed the world of education teaching children, his true passion for fine food and wine brought him back to the culinary world. He currently resides in the East Valley with his wife and three children.

Jana O'Brien

A Chicago-land native, Jana moved to Arizona in 2009. Jana is a former teacher with a masters degree in Education Administration, however, while working in the golf industry during the summer breaks, she found her passion and has been in Hospitality for over 20 years.  With positions as Food and Beverage Director, Catering Director, Marketing and Membership Sales, she feels that Gainey Ranch Golf Club has offered her the role that wraps that all into a perfect package as the Member Relations Director.  Jana is passionate about advocating for Foster children and enjoys her favorite role as Mom to her 6 children.
