Event Rooms


The Prioleau Ballroom

This is not your traditional ballroom.  Located on the second floor, our historic ballroom features rich wood accents and the exposed brick walls of the original Civil War era shipping warehouse. The six deep window seats are perfect for candlelight. The ballroom is attached to a beautifully furnished foyer, perfect for pre-dinner cocktails. This room is perfect for seated events for up to 150, seated events with a dance floor for up to 120 and reception-style parties for up to 300. 

The Rooftop Terrace

The Rooftop Terrace is the most popular with our Members. On our third floor, the terrace features a brick patio and built-in bar. It is the perfect setting for an elegant outdoor ceremony, casual reception, low country boil or oyster roast. This area is perfect for seated events up to 100 and reception style parties up to 150. Tenting options are available, so the terrace can be used year-round. 

The Palmetto Room

This is truly the most unique room in town. Located on the first floor with skylights in the vaulted cathedral ceilings and exposed original brick walls, this room is the ideal cozy atmosphere for a more intimate party. The Palmetto Room is perfect for seated dinners with up to 70 guests, seated dinners with a dance floor for up to 50 and reception-style parties for up to 100. 

The Sumter Room

We have the ideal room for bridal luncheons, business client receptions, intimate dinner parties and board meetings. Located on the second floor, this room is decorated with yellow and white-striped wallpaper and floral curtains. The Sumter Room is cheery and classic at the same time.  This room is perfect for 40 guests seated at round tables, 22 guests seated at a conference table and 40 guests at a reception style party.  

The Lord's Proprietor Room

Available evenings, this formal dining room is ideal for private executive meetings or bridal luncheons. Located on the first floor, it is decorated with rich jewel toned walls and elegant wooden armchairs.  This room is perfect for seated events up to 30 guests at rectangular banquet style tables, 18 guests at a u-shape table and 16 guests at a conference table.
