Cece relocated to Charleston and she is sincerely thankful for her move. She attended North Carolina State University majoring in Visual Design with a concentration in Business Management. Afterwards, she put her creative eye and business acumen to effective use by owning and operating Cece’s Boutique, which in 2016 unexpectedly led her to a role as Membership Director of the Piedmont Club in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
While there, Cece consistently exceeded Membership goals by displaying fun, caring, top-notch customer service, coupled with a data-driven approach to engaging Club Members and Prospective Members. As a result, she was awarded Club 100 status which is ClubCorp’s single most prestigious form of recognition.
Cece joined the Harbour Club in May 2018. In this role, she continues to engage in building relationships, enriching lives and insuring that Member’s needs are met. She is always attentive, cordial and hospitable to others, whether in a professional setting or casual encounter on the street. Her motto is, “The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.” Mahatma Gandhi
While not at work, Cece relishes (which means that she cannot wait for) the opportunity to read historical novels, watch movies, especially great classics and more importantly, to cuddle with and take moonlit strolls on the Charleston Harbor with her loving husband, Robert and sweet dog Sadie.
Nina joined the Harbour Club team in 2017, bringing with her 15+ years’ experience in event management, operations, marketing and sales. Through the years she has worked in all aspects of the industry; for private clubs, hotels, restaurants in and around Charleston, as well as a number of private venues.
Originally born in Europe, her family moved to the States when she was a young girl, and settled in North Carolina. She is 2016 Graduate of Elon University with a degree in Psychology and minor in Criminal Justice. She moved to the low country 12 years ago and has loved life here ever since.
Nina has strong communication skills geared towards both event leadership and providing outstanding customer service. She thrives when working in a fast-paced atmosphere, is organized, highly motivated, and detail oriented. She is passionate about creating exceptional event experiences for the Membership, and greater Charleston area.
When not at the Club, her two young girls keep her busy and on her toes! In her spare time she likes to spend time with her family at the local beaches, outdoor parks, and music festivals.
Jenna Root joined the Harbour Club family in February 2018. Originally from Northeastern Pennsylvania, she left the snowy hills for the sunny beach in 2010 where she attended Coastal Carolina University just outside of Myrtle Beach, SC. There she found a passion for the service industry primarily within the golf and country club environment. She moved to Charleston in 2014 and has made this city her home. She looks forward to building profound relationships with the Members of the Harbour Club and serving them with a smile every day. Jenna is a driven, team orientated person that has a vision for success in all she does. She is a natural born people person with a contagious positive energy. When she is not at the Harbour Club you can find her at the beach or the dog park with her Siberian husky, Jameson.
David joined The Harbour Club team in January 2018. His primary focus is bringing first-rate service to all members, guests, and private events. He stresses friendliness, product knowledge, systems and procedures. David brings over 20 years of hospitality and food & beverage experience.
He moved to South Carolina in 2000 after graduating from The University of Toledo with a degree in Business Administration. Small Business has been a main focus both in degree and experience. Some highlights of experience are co-founding/operating a vacation rental property business on Daufuskie Island and spending 10 years as General Manager of a local busy family restaurant. David is committed to finding great people to add to the service team and deliver above and beyond results for Harbour Club.
When David is not providing service at Harbour Club, he is likely enjoying time with his wife and young family.
