Frank LaVacca

Frank began working at Ipswich in June of 2017 as the PGA General Manager. Frank has worked with the ClubCorp family since 2007 most recently at Hartefeld National in Pennsylvania. He graduated from Cortland State in New York with a fine arts degree and became a PGA Member in 2010. He is excited about making Ipswich his new home and building relationships with Members, Guests and staff. He has moved to Newbury, MA with wife Lyndsay, daughter Lana and faithful pal, Stryder.

Neil has nearly 10 years in the golf business in Massachusetts. Neil has worked previously at Franklin Country Club and Blue Hill Country Club where he served in similar capacities. In between golf gigs, Neil worked in sales and sales management at several high tech companies including Lycos and GoDaddy. Neil lives in Exeter, NH with his wife and two children.

Melissa started working Ipswich Country Club in 2013. She first started off as a hostess in the RTJ then received her first promotion to a server in 2015. You could also see her cruising the golf course in the Beverage Cart! Melissa’s devotion to the Club and Membership led her to her latest promotion in 2017 as the Member Relations Coordinator. 

Melissa Nolet

Melissa is originally from the South Shore.  She started her career with Saphire Events group at Ridder Country club along with Pembroke Country Club. Graduated with a degree in Sports/Entertainment/Event Management with concentrations in Resort Management and Event Planning Management, from Johnson and Wales.  Melissa’s Career in events took her to Stowe Vermont for two years as Conference and Event Planning Manager at Stoweflake Resort and Conference Center. Missing her love for the coastal state and various event opportunities we welcome her back to Massachusetts.

Daniel Dwyer

Dan Joined the Ipswich golf staff for the 2011 season as the First Assistant Golf Professional under the previous Director of Golf and now General Manager, Travis Hall.  His career in the golf business started like many area professionals as a local caddie.  Over the past 20 years Dan has refined his abilities at many of the area’s finest Clubs as an assistant professional including Winchester, Kernwood, Bellevue and Bass Rocks Country Clubs.  He also has previous Head Professional experience having served as such at both Bass Rocks Country Club and Mt. Hood Golf Course. 

Dan is also one of the New England Section’s finest players.  In his college days he played on the Salem State University team that finished 2nd in the Division III Nationals.  His professional playing accomplishments include being the first recipient of the New England Assistants Association’s Ben Boyd Player of the Year Award as well as winning the esteemed Hudson Cup in three different decades.  On a national scene, Dan has twice qualified for the 2nd Stage of U.S. Open Qualifying, the most recent of which was in 2012.

Dan is a model of professionalism and truly has a gift for enhancing the enjoyment of the game of golf for our Members.  Originally from Melrose, MA, Dan currently resides in Manchester-by-the-Sea where he enjoys fishing, golfing and donating his time to Junior Golf.

Matt Behl

For the past twenty years, I have worked as the superintendent at Haverhill Country Club. During this time, I have had the pleasure of hosting many Massachusetts Golf Association championships and a United States Golf Association event. I have also had the privilege of working on a LPGA tour stop. Most importantly, as superintendent, I have passionately committed myself to improving course conditions and instilling that same sense of pride and commitment in my team.

I am a graduate of the University of Massachusetts with a Bachelor's degree in Plant and Soil Science along with a concentration in turf grass management and business option.

I live in Georgetown, Massachusetts with my wife of 17 years. She is a teacher in Marblehead. We have 14 year old twins, Mason and Marisa. Both Mason and Marisa attend Georgetown Middle/High School . Mason is an avid soccer player and runner who also enjoys skiing. Marisa enjoys playing field hockey and ice skating. When I'm not at work, I enjoy spending time with family, coaching and participating in all outdoor activities.

In addition to seeing you on the course, my door is always open. I am truly grateful and excited for this opportunity.

Tim Eyring

Tim joined the Ipswich Country Club team in February of 2016. He made his way here after working in the club industry for the past 3 years at Brierwood Country Club just outside of Buffalo, NY. At Brierwood, Tim gained very diverse experience in the business of golf and country clubs including; a la carte dining, banquet operations with 9+ venues, member relations and catering sales. Prior to that, he spent the last 5 years working in the hotel industry as a banquet captain.
He has his bachelor’s degree in music education with a concentration in classical voice from Ithaca College in Ithaca, NY. In his spare time you’ll see him playing on the piano in the lobby, let him know if there is something that you want to hear!

Robert Manni

Chef Bob was born in Boston’s North End, moved to the north shore at a young age and now lives in Beverly with his wife, two daughters, granddaughter and son-in law. Chef graduated from Northeastern University in Boston with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and worked for Raytheon for 10 years. He then decided to make a career change and graduated from Johnson and Whales in Providence Rhode Island with a Degree in Culinary Arts and Hotel Restaurant Management.
