Mike has worked in the club business for over 20 years allowing him to gain valuable experience working for some of the industry leaders. Born and raised in Buffalo, New York, Mike has been associated with golf since the age of 11. Early in his life, Mike knew he wanted to work in the club industry. He has a passion for building relationships and providing people with outstanding experiences.
Mike was Piedmont Club's General Manager from 2011 - 2013 before taking over as River Creek Club's General Manager for the last four years. River Creek Club produced great results over the four years Mike led the team and he is looking forward to the same success at Piedmont Club. Mike believes in supporting and empowering his teams to go above and beyond on a daily basis. Mike is excited to continue the relationships built while at Piedmont Club and establishing new relationships with Members who have joined the club in the last four years.

RJ comes to us from The Currituck Club in Corolla, NC where he has spent the past two years as First Assistant Golf Professional. Originally from Erie, PA, RJ graduated from Penn State with a Professional Golf Management degree (and currently holds a PGA Membership as well). While at Penn State he served internships at Millcreek and Erie Golf Club in PA, The Prairie Club in NE, and Canterbury Golf Club in OH.

Kimberly truly feels at home at Piedmont Club, as she was raised in Haymarket, Virginia. She is a graduate of the Tourism & Event Management program at George Mason University. Kimberly has held various positions at local private clubs, including the role of Piedmont’s Member Relations Coordinator in 2012. Prior to returning to Piedmont in 2015, Kimberly worked for a tourism and events agency in Florence, Italy. She also served as the Catering and Events Manager at Heritage Hunt Golf & Country Club. Kimberly is so excited to be back to what she has always considered her “home” club here at Piedmont!
When Kimberly is away from the club she enjoys traveling, obstacle race training and spending time with her Australian Shepherd Opaa.

Sean is born and raised in Northern Virginia and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from University of North Carolina – Wilmington. After receiving his degree he moved back to Northern Virginia to begin his career as a golf professional. Sean spent five years as an Assistant Golf Professional at Army Navy Country Club in Arlington, Virginia before heading to Dominion Valley Country Club for two seasons. In 2017, Sean returned to Army Navy Country Club to assist with training and structuring of their instructional programs.

A graduate of the University of Maryland turf program Adam comes to us after 2 1/2 years as assistant superintendent at TPC Potomac, prior to that he spent 3 years as assistant superintendent at Belle Haven Country Club. Adam also had the distinct honor of helping bring golf back to the Olympics. He spent 3 months in 2015 growing in the Olympic Golf Course in Rio, and returned as a member of the maintenance team during the games this past summer.

Eric spent the past six years in the Food & Beverage operation at the Hyatt Regency Dulles. Prior to that he spent several years at Heritage Hunt Country Club, and he looks forward to returning to the Club atmosphere.

Chef James has done an outstanding job for over the past 2 ½ years as Sous Chef at River Creek Club and has earned an opportunity to run his own operation here at Piedmont. Prior to joining River Creek Club, James Lockley was the Executive Sous Chef at Salamander Resort and prior to that the Sous Chef at Loudoun Golf & Country Club.

Natalie is new to the country club scene, but she does have a very extensive background with restaurant management as a former Assistant Manager with Panera Bread and Service/Bar Manager with TGI Fridays. She was born in Fairfax but has been fortunate enough to live all around the globe with time spent in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and many years in Shrewsbury, England and then San Diego, California. She graduated with a Bachelor’s in Russian Studies from Sewanee: The University of the South. When she is not at the club she is home doing puzzles with her fiancé and baking delicious treats.
