What do my Play Away Membership benefits, formerly ClubCorp Travel, provide when I travel?

You will enjoy exciting benefits including:

Who do I contact for reservations at clubs?

ClubLine is your personal concierge. With one call, make reservations for tee times, entertainment, tickets, dining and hotels, or get information. Reservations must be made in advance by contacting ClubLine at 800.433.5079 or clubline@clubcorp.com.

What clubs can I access?

You’ll enjoy access to more than 200 golf, country and city clubs when you travel 100+ miles from your primary residence and business addresses. Check out the participating clubs.

When is the earliest I can use my benefits?

Please anticipate 3 business days before your membership benefits are available.

Does the complimentary* meal apply to country clubs?

Complimentary* dining is only available at participating city clubs.

Can my family use my Play Away Membership benefits?

Your immediate family has access to benefits, including your spouse and children under 23 who live at home or attend college full-time.

Am I able to bring guests when I am using my Play Away Membership benefits and, if so, do guest fees apply?

You are also welcome to bring guests when enjoying your Play Away Membership benefits; however, the complimentary* benefits do not apply toward guests. Your guests will be subject to the Club’s guest fees (green and cart fees and/or dining charges).

How do I pay for golf, dining and other services when I visit a club?

A credit card will be required at the time of service.

How will the clubs I visit know I'm a Play Away Member?

A reservation is required through ClubLine. Your ClubLine concierge will provide an email confirmation. When you arrive at the club, you will need to present your member card and a photo ID so they can identify you as a Play Away Member.

I am planning a trip to Palm Springs, California. How does it work?

With one call to ClubLine, you can take care of all your reservations. There are currently four country clubs available in Palms Springs. With ClubCorp Travel, you can enjoy two complimentary* green fees at Mission Hills Country Club, two complimentary* green fees at Indian Wells Country Club, two complimentary* green fees at Desert Falls Country Club, and two complimentary* green fees at Rancho Las Palmas Resort, all in one trip! That equates to more than $1,200 in complimentary* green fee benefits. 

ClubLine can also assist you with your dinner and hotel reservations in Palm Springs at one of our numerous alliance restaurants and hotels.

How do I find out about new Play Away Membership benefits I can enjoy?

We will keep you “in the know” with monthly email updates on your benefits including the ClubCorp Insider, Member Exclusives and Network emails. Plus, you will receive Private Clubs magazine.

What does Play Away Membership cost?

Dues may vary but generally are around $60 per month.

What do you mean by "the initiation fee is waived" in your offer?

Play Away Membership normally has a $1,000 fee to join. For a limited time, we are waiving this joining fee.

Are there limitations on this membership?

There are several guidelines on how the benefits can be used. This membership features traveling benefits, so there are no home club benefits and you must be outside a 100-mile radius from all home and business addresses when using your benefits. All benefits are subject to space availability. Tee time access is anytime on weekdays, and after noon on weekends and holidays. Check out the full Terms & Conditions here.

Can I use the benefits when I'm at my second home?

This is intended to be a traveling membership and is not available in locations where you have a second home, rental property or any other form or residency.

Can I bring a group out to play on my membership and, if so, how much would they pay?

Play Away Members may book up to two consecutive tee times on the same day at a club. Anything that requires more than two times is considered a "group" event or outing. Play Away Membership benefits do not apply to groups or outings. Our clubs will be happy to assist you with booking an outing. Our clubs welcome outings on a space available basis. Guest fees will apply. For group outings that require additional times, please contact ClubLine at 800.433.5079 and request to speak to a Group Coordinator.

Am I able to cancel my membership?

There is no loyalty agreement, but Members who cancel within 12 months will be subject to a $250 cancellation fee. 

If I have to resign but want to rejoin later, what would be required?

If you resign and want to reinstate, the $1,000 joining fee will apply. Your resignation notice must be provided in writing. 

How do I enroll in Play Away Membership?

Simply complete the online application or email travel@clubcorp.com.

How can I share with a friend who is interested in enrolling?

Play Away is a limited membership only available in select markets at this time. Share your friend's information on the contact us form and we'll follow up on your behalf.
