Who is ClubCorp?

As a leading owner-operator of private golf and country clubs, city and stadium clubs, ClubCorp’s portfolio now includes more than 200 clubs in 27 states, the District of Columbia and two foreign countries.

Is Play Away Select available in my area? 

Play Away Select is available in markets around the country, except where ClubCorp owns or operates clubs. Markets are the larger surrounding area and may include major metropolitan areas like Atlanta, Houston, Tampa, etc. If you are unsure whether we have clubs in your area, this list of participating clubs may include your area but does not show all owned and operated clubs, or you can contact us at 866.659.3380 and we’ll be happy to help. 

What do my Play Away Select benefits provide when I travel?

You will enjoy exciting benefits including:

  • Two complimentary* green fees per market per month at country clubs nationwide
  • Access to city clubs two times per month in more than 40 cities
  • Rental clubs are available at a preferred rate at country clubs in the ClubCorp family
  • 21-day advance tee times
  • Special offerings at more than 1,000 hotels, resorts and restaurants

Who do I contact for reservations at clubs?

ClubLine is your personal concierge. With one call, make reservations for tee times, entertainment, dining and hotels, or get information. Reservations must be made in advance by contacting ClubLine at 800.433.5079 or clubline@clubcorp.com.

What clubs can I access?

You’ll enjoy access to golf, country and city clubs nationwide when you travel 100+ miles from your place(s) of residence and business addresses. Check out the participating clubs.

When is the earliest I can use my benefits?

Please anticipate 3 business days before your membership benefits are available.

Can my family use my Play Away Select benefits?

Your immediate family has access to benefits, including your spouse and children under 23 who live at home or attend college full-time.

Am I able to bring guests when I am using my Play Away Select benefits and, if so, do guest fees apply?

You are also welcome to bring guests when enjoying your Play Away Select benefits; however, the complimentary* benefits do not apply toward guests. Your guests will be subject to the Club’s guest fees (green and cart fees).

How do I pay for golf, dining and other services when I visit a club?

A credit card will be required at the time of service.

How will the clubs I visit know I'm a Play Away Select Member?

A reservation is required through ClubLine. Your ClubLine concierge will provide an email confirmation. When you arrive at the club, you will need to present your member card and a photo ID so they can identify you as a Play Away Select Member.


With one call to ClubLine, you can take care of all your reservations. Enjoy two rounds of golf in San Diego, two in Orange County, and two in Los Angeles. You can also enjoy amazing views and dining experiences at the University Club Atop Symphony Tower, The Center Club Orange County, and the beautiful City Club Los Angeles. That equates to more than $600 in complimentary* green fee benefits. ClubLine can also assist you with your hotel, resort, and restaurant reservations at one of our numerous alliance restaurants and hotels. 

How do I find out about new Play Away Select benefits I can enjoy?

We will keep you “in the know” with monthly email updates on your benefits including the ClubCorp Insider, Member Exclusives and Network emails.

Are there limitations on this membership?

There are several guidelines on how the benefits can be used. This membership features traveling benefits, so there are no home club benefits and you must be outside a 100-mile radius from all home and business addresses when using your benefits. All benefits are subject to space availability. Tee time access is available Sunday noon to Friday noon. Check out the full Terms & Conditions here.

Can I use the benefits when I'm at my second home?

This is intended to be a traveling membership and is not available in locations where you have a second home, rental property or any other form or residency.

Can I bring a group out to play on my membership and, if so, how much would they pay?

Play Away Select Members may book up to two consecutive tee times on the same day at a club. Anything that requires more than two times is considered a "group" event or outing. Play Away Select Membership benefits do not apply to groups or outings. Our clubs will be happy to assist you with booking an outing. Our clubs welcome outings on a space-available basis. Guest fees will apply. For group outings that require additional times, please contact ClubLine at 800.433.5079 and request to speak to a Group Coordinator.

Am I able to cancel my membership?

There is no loyalty agreement, but Members who cancel within 12 months will be subject to a $250 cancellation fee. 

*Benefits valid at participating clubs outside of a 100-mile radius of Member’s place(s) of residence and business, as determined by ACI, and are subject to the Play Away Select Terms & Conditions and Membership Policies.
