With more than 30 years of leadership in the Golf, Hospitality and Museum sectors, Dan brings a broad background and experience to Porter Valley Country Club. Starting with his role as the General Manager of Los Verdes Golf & Country Club in Palos Verdes California and later Vista Valencia Golf Course in Valencia California for American Golf Corporation, those roles led to his appointment as the Vice President & General Manager of DC-3 Restaurant & Catering (owned by the Chairman of American Golf Corporation, David G. Price) and as theExecutive Director of the Museum of Flying at the Santa Monica Airport a nonprofit Museum (Founded and Chaired by David G. Price.)
Later, Dan was hired as the Executive Director of the Arizona Aviation Aerospace Foundation at the Pima Air & Space Museum in Tucson before returning to Santa Monica to resurrect and rebuild the new Museum of Flying which reopened in 2012. Prior to his roles in the Golf, and Aviation Museum sectors, Dan held previous management positions at the Sheraton Hotel, Universal City, and the world famous Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills. Dan is an average golfer who enjoys the game and is known to be a good putter.
Originally from Wisconsin, Dan's career in hospitality has spanned more than 10 years, holding a range of jobs in Hotel Operations, Restaurant Operations, Golf Operations and Club Operations. In addition to hospitality, Dan's diverse background includes holding two Bachelor of Science degrees. He is a graduate from the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse, with a degree in Business Management and minor in Recreation Management and graduate from the University of Wisconsin - Stout, with a degree in Golf Enterprise Management.
Dan joined the ClubCorp team in 2010 as First Assistant Golf Professional for three seasons and was promoted to Membership Director for two seasons during his five seasons at Desert Falls Country Club. Dan was promoted to Membership Director at Porter Valley in 2015.
When not at the Club he enjoys spoiling his niece Aubrie and nephews Logan and Bryce, and spending time with family back in Wisconsin.
He is an avid sports fan (Braves, Packers, Huskers) and enjoys playing basketball, softball, football, baseball, tennis, and snowboarding whenever he can find the time. You will often find Dan on the Golf Course or Practice Facility when he isn't working and is always up for a game on The Links.
Originally from Massachusetts, Julie moved to Southern California after coming here for a vacation in 1983.
Julie joined ClubCorp in 1985, starting at Braemar Country Club as Assistant Private Events Director. After three short months, she was promoted to Porter Valley Country Club as Private Events Director and has enjoyed Porter Valley ever since.
During her tenure, she has received several awards including ClubCorp President's Club and most recently ClubCorp Hall of Fame. When she is not at the Club, Julie enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter and large extended family.
Tracy is a local boy, born and raised in the San Fernando Valley. Tracy worked his way up the ladder at Porter, starting as pro shop assistant and becoming the manager in 1997.
In 2000, he was promoted to Operations Manager and in 2003, after completing the Golf Professionals Training Program, was named the Club’s head golf professional.
Tracy has won several ClubCorp national awards; Rising Star in 2004, Superstar in 2005 and 2006 and the All-Star award in 2007, 2008 and 2014.
Tracy spends his off time with his wife Marilyn and their two labs Pete and Bobbie Jones.
Moe has been teaching tennis for over 20 years. Prior to joining Porter Valley, Moe was a Davis Cup captain, national coach and technical advisor to the tennis federation for his native country, where he was responsible for players and juniors developmental programs.
Moe has traveled to over 30 countries playing, teaching and officiating for tennis. As an ATP/ITF international official, Moe has umpired at many events such as Wimbledon, Kremlin Cup and the Olympics.
Moe is fluent in four languages and holds a Master of Psychology degree.
Courtland is a former NCAA ALL-American with over eight years of coaching experience. He began teaching lessons at the age of sixteen and was quickly promoted to head coach of his local club.
After obtaining his bachelor’s degree he worked at the Museum of Natural History as well as with Asphalt Green, a nonprofit promoting physical fitness and competitive swimming in the five boroughs of New York City. Many of his swimmers have gone on to win state and regional titles, several of whom are now swimming in college. He has taught swimming to people of all ages and skill levels.

Frank has been with Porter Valley Fit since 2006. Franklin holds a BA from Hunter College, CUNY, and an MS Degree in recreation and health from Cortland College, SUNY. He is certified as a personal fitness trainer with specializations in Senior and Golf Fitness from the National Academy of Sports Medicine.
Frank is married, has one son, two cats and a dog. His outside interests include baseball, animal rescue, the Grateful Dead and great conversation.
