Bruce brings more than 20 years of hospitality experience to the Capital Club, having worked in convention/resort hotels, convention centers, restaurants, race tracks, museums, night clubs, theaters and even his own catering company. He comes to us most recently from Starwood Hotels, where he was the Director of Food and Beverage at the 1,000-room Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina.
Bruce is truly excited to be at the Capital Club and in an environment where he can interact with the Members. It’s also a chance for him to establish himself within the Silicon Valley community where he is a part of the San Jose Downtown Rotary and the Chamber of Commerce.
Following his graduation from the University of Denver with a degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management and an MBA, Bruce’s career has taken him throughout the United States, Mexico and Fiji. Quickly adapting to Silicon Valley with its mild climate and green vegetation, he looks forward to being an active member of the community and this great private business club.
In his free time, Bruce enjoys riding his bicycle along the picturesque trails of San Jose. Bruce is married and has two children. He continues to commute back and forth from Southern California periodically until his son graduates high school.

Esther Jones is one of the Club’s Membership Directors. Esther spent most of her career in the healthcare industry, working at LifeScan, Inc. for the past 10 years. Her past role as a vendor manager in customer service brings customer resolution and management experience.
Local resident of the Bay Area, she is married and with three children.

Gina Rodriguez joined the Capital Club family in 2006 as a Front Desk Concierge. Through her passion for hospitality, enduring professionalism and customer service mentality she was promoted to Member Relations Director in 2010. After dedicating 6 years to Member retention, Gina is excited to start her new journey as a Membership Director and looks forward to the opportunity to bring in new members to share the benefits of Club membership.
Member interaction is Gina’s favorite part of her job and she is proud to say that she’s built a rapport with many members of the Capital Club during her tenure. Gina enjoys knowing that she plays a major role in creating memorable experiences for members of the Club that are both personal and meaningful.
A Northern Bay Area native, Gina moved to San Jose for college where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations from San Jose State University and a Minor in Theater Arts.
Gina has a passion for musical theater and, in her down time, she enjoys volunteering, going to shows and spending time at home in Willow Glen with her boyfriend and her Boxer, Dodger.

Kim is one of our private event directors, joining us with over 20 years of hotel and convention center catering sales management experience.
She is a bay area native that just happily returned after 18 years away including New Orleans, where she joined The Ritz-Carlton Hotel opening team as a pastry apprentice and then quickly moved up to sales.
She also spent four years as a catering sales manager at the Las Vegas convention center and four years in hotel event planning and sales. She has extensive experience in both high end and high volume (and usually both) event planning.
Her favorite aspect of event planning is collaborating with her clients on creating memorable life events and making special friends for life.
When not working, Kim loves to spend time with her family, fur babies, travel, explore new restaurants, read and attend music events.

Milagros found her life’s calling with the hospitality industry 11 years ago. She enjoys the interaction she has daily with people from all over the world. She is also excited to have the opportunity to work with talented individuals who have a passion for what they do. What Milagros enjoys most about her job is building relationships and enriching the lives of our Members, their guests and Employee Partners.
In her free time, you can find her nose in a book, listening to music or enjoying the special moments of being a mom.

Since 2002, Chef Ron Garrido has owned and operated the very successful Avalon Restaurant and Bar in Eureka, California where he describes his cooking style as, “avant-garde regional cuisine.”
Chef Ron is an eight year recipient of the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence, an award in which the recipient must present complete, accurate wine information. The wine list must include vintages and appellations for all selections. The award is reserved for those who offer a well-chosen selection of quality producers, along with a thematic match to the menu in both price and style. Chef Ron has also received accolades from Sunset and Condé Nast Traveler Magazines.
Chef Ron held the Executive Chef position with San Francisco’s famed Carnelian Room and Banker's Club as well as the San Jose Hilton & Towers.
During the peak of its popularity, Chef Ron served as the Executive Sous Chef for Stars Restaurant in San Francisco for six years.
Chef Ron is a strong believer in organic and "farm to table" cuisines and has always converted his operations to his preferred "scratch-cooking" methods. The experience he brings to the Capital Club will be a favorable and welcoming addition to that of his talented predecessor Chef Michael.
When Chef Ron is not using his talent creating new menus or hard at work in the kitchen, he can be found participating in charitable efforts with various women' societies, animal shelters, the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program and the Wounded Warrior Project. He enjoys fishing, hunting and especially spending time with his son.

After graduating from college, Justin ventured into the Technology Industry for a while. It wasn’t till then that he realized his true calling was in the Hospitality Industry. So he went back to school and graduated in Hotel & Restaurant Hospitality Management / Culinary Arts Degree (Le Cordon Bleu – San Francisco).
Justin has managed several restaurants & hotels (includes Left Bank, Village on Santana Row, Joie de Vivre Hotels, and Fairmont San Jose Hotel). Justin is well-respected by his upper management, colleague, peers, employees and guests for his passion and hospitality, culinary expertise.
Justin is very excited to be with The Silicon Valley Capital Club as the Food and Beverage Director. This allows him to take his time exploring a career path within the hospitality industry at a different angle. When he is not at work, you'll always find him in his kitchen. He enjoys cooking and he loves entertaining his family & friends with food and wines. Of course he does enjoy having his German Shepherds and Beagles always follow him everywhere around the house.

Eric joined the Capital Club family in 2014 as a Front Desk Concierge. Eric’s creative sensibility and love for interpersonal connections advanced his role as an assistant to the Member Relations Coordinator by the end of his first year, in the role of Member Services Liaison. Recently, Eric was appointed as the new Member Relations Coordinator, a position he once assisted. Eric is committed to empowering the members at large, helping connect Members through the joys of clubLIFE and most importantly, enriching lives.
Prior to working for ClubCorp, Eric worked as a photojournalist for San Jose’s Metro Newspaper, and had a successful tenure as booking agent for bands and events for various local music venues.
ClubCorp recently awarded Eric with the “Superstar Award,” a title he hopes will live on as long as he works for this company.
