Great Richmond golf finds its home at Stonehenge Golf and Country Club. More than a quarter century ago, the late Edmund Ault, noted designer for such premier golf clubs as the Army Navy Golf Club in Arlington, Virginia, and the Country Club of Virginia’s Tuckahoe Course, was engaged to create Stonehenge’s 18 holes of championship Richmond golf.
This world-class Richmond golf club has become a masterpiece appreciated by professionals and amateurs alike. The entire course is 6,728 yards and it plays longer. No other golf course in Richmond can match the spectacular history, tradition and unique design found at Stonehenge.
Vamont Bermuda grass tees and fairways, strategically placed bunkers, natural water hazards and subtly undulating A-4 bent grass greens all work together to deliver a memorable round of golf at this Richmond golf course.
Our professional Richmond golf course staff conducts private and group lessons for all types of golfers and maintains a fully stocked pro shop. A complete driving range and practice green also help Members loosen up or just “fine tune” their swing between games. For those interested in Richmond golf tournaments, leagues or assistance in putting a game together, the golf staff here at Stonehenge is always planning ahead to ensure the best Richmond golf experience possible for all Members and their guests.
When you’re a Golf Member of Stonehenge Golf & Country Club you have access to five additional clubs in the Richmond region under the Richmond Golf Alliance where you can play golf for only $30 per round,* including green fee and cart. Participating clubs are:
