A Message from Greg Kinney

Dear Members,  

The constant stream of information about the coronavirus has touched us all. It is our goal to keep you informed as we receive updates. Please know the health, safety and well-being of our Members, Employees and the community is our top priority. We are following the recommendations from local, state and national health and government organizations as they become available. With recent guidance to minimize large gatherings, and to close restaurants and bars, we are modifying our Club operations and services.

What does this mean?

  • To comply with the mandate from local/state authorities, we are temporarily closing the food and beverage services within the clubhouse starting Friday, March 20th and will notify our Members when we re-open.
  • We will continue to offer To-Go services. To-Go service will be available between 11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Call 972-359-2103 to place your order.
  • Clubhouse and locker rooms will be closed except to use the restrooms facilities, access your locker, or administration.

Social Events and Programming

  • All Club-sponsored social events and programming will be cancelled or postponed for the next 30 days and will be evaluated beyond that.

Golf

  • The golf course remains open for your enjoyment. Enjoy acres of open space with friends and family, following CDC recommended social distancing. Play a round of golf, practice all aspects of your game, or simply get out and walk the course for an outdoor break. For safety reasons, we have elected to remove all water coolers from the golf course. Ice and water machines will be available and Midway will be open to purchase bottled water. You are welcome to take an individual cart, which will be sanitized before and after each use.
  • The practice facilities are also available during this time and our golf shop team is eager to assist you.

This unexpected closing presents a very challenging situation for our Club and Employees. To maintain the Club efficiently and cost effectively while we are closed, we will operate with a small core staff. We are hopeful this is a short-term situation and that we will be able to re-open our food and beverage services soon, but want to be mindful of the long-term effect this may have. We will need your help and support during this difficult time to ensure we are ready when you return, with the same unparalleled amenities and service you have come to expect.

In light of the situation and the temporary clubhouse food and beverage service closing, we are going to institute a monthly food credit up to $150 to all Members, prorated, for the time we are closed, not to exceed the amount of dues you actually pay during the time of closure. You will be able to use these credits for up to six months from when we are able to re-open our clubhouse dining facilities. The credits will be issued when the club re-opens.

Clearly, this pandemic is a fluid situation and developments are evolving quickly. We recognize the Club is your safe haven during challenging and difficult times; perhaps even more so now, so we will strive to re-open clubhouse restaurant services as soon as we can. We will notify you when we are able to return to our normal Club services. Together, we will get through this and return to happier times with fellow Members, friends and family at our Club. Our thoughts are with our Members and community.We will continue to keep you informed.
