Matt has extensive experience in Private Clubs, as well as significant tenure with ClubCorp, where he has served at several ClubCorp properties.
Matt is a member of the Professional Golfers’ Association of America and the Club Management Association of America.
He and his wife Ashley are the proud parents of 2 children, Dylan and Jackson.
Kirby Sutton is a California native who most recently came from Las Colinas Country Club. Kirby has a background in food and beverage as well as customer service. She is eager to use her knowledge gained from her years in the customer service industry to ensure each Member has a wonderful time at Timarron and is able to maximize their experience to the fullest.
When she is not hard at work, Kirby enjoys spending time with friends, traveling, wine tasting, books, and loves outdoor activities.
Angela’s recent transition back into a Member Relation's position is sure to benefit Timarron well! Before making the decision to become a full time Mom to her three children, Angela served in a Member Relations role with Club Corp for six years. Angela will be responsible for New Member on-boarding as well as New Member Orientation and retention. She brings a great passion for ensuring that all of our Members are familiar with and utilize the Club to the best of its abilities.
Matt is a Class A PGA Member with 30 years of experience, the last 15 in ClubCorp.
Matt has been at Canyon Creek, Brookhaven and Stonebridge Ranch and also served as the Regional Director of Golf for the Central Region. Matt is a University of Texas alum and began his career at the Kapalua resort in Maui, Hawaii.
Matt was Head Professional at all 3 courses during his tenure at Kapalua, including the first Head Professional at the Plantation course, host of the PGA Tour season opening event. After 10 years in Hawaii, Matt made his way back to Texas and was the Director of Golf at Bentwater Country Club in Montgomery, north of Houston. Matt joined ClubCorp in 2003 and is excited to lead the golf operation at Timarron.
Matt has been married to his wife Bridget for 26 years and have 2 children; their son Austin is a Junior at Oklahoma State and daughter Mackenzie is a Junior at Lovejoy High School.
Dave grew up in New Orleans, LA, and started playing golf when he was 8-years-old. His first golf coach was his Dad. He graduated from LSU in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
His passion is to create new golfers, help golfers improve their skills and advance to new levels. Everyone needs to have the Game-Of-Lifetime-Fun bring joy to their lives!
Dave is a PGA Master Professional in Teaching and Coaching and PGA Quarter Century Member. He has given more than 10,000 lessons and been awarded Teacher of the Year (Southern Texas PGA – Western Chapter), Junior Golf Leader (Southern Texas PGA) and is also a certified First Tee Coach.
In 2000, after 12 years as the Head Golf Professional at Sherwood Forest Country Club in Baton Rouge, La., Dave moved to Austin, Texas, where he served as the Director of Instruction at the Onion Creek Club and then became the Director of Instruction and Programming for the First Tee of Greater Austin.
In 2010, he married his Aggie wife Alicia “Bunny” Baron at the US Open at Pebble Beach. In 2016, he returned to Texas to direct the PGA Learning Center. When Dave and Bunny are not playing golf together, they enjoy watching golf and other sporting events, especially LSU Tiger Football, wine tasting and playing with their puppy, Arnold Palmer, aka Arnie.
